I'm not asking for an all out WWE takeover...just that getting ONE OR TWO of their big names would dramatically help TNA get more exposure...and then they could introduce the world and more people to all these indy guys and tna legends like styles/joe/roode/aries

What you dont understand is noone is important from the wwe. You could put any single one of those wrestlers in this company.Nothing would happen other then a week of ratings going up a little bit.Maybe the only talent that would do that is john cena.If that does anything after a few weeks. Its not about talent anymore.WWE is not the super power of wrestlers it was.All the super power wrestlers have retired.

Hell Impact wrestling has been bringing in guys that are still bigger stars then anyone on the current wwe roster.Yet it has not made the company any bigger other then natural growth.

What makes this point true is the fact the wwe has re called all of its ex star talent back for minimum dates of work.Just to get the ratings going. Its a fact that the wwe is trying to live off its old stars right now as well.So its time for Impact to focus on the future.I just find it funny that all those stars were in impact wrestling at some point.Yet everyone wwe fan said they was rejects.Second they appear on wwe tv they mean something again ?

Merchandise and PPV buys count, too. Also, there's no way that ratings would stay the same if Orton, Punk or Ryback came.

It's irrelevant, though, because we all know TNA would JUMP at the opportunity to get ANYONE in the main event at WWE.

Even then, guys have shown up, but it dose nothing, pepole dont follow Wrestlers, they follow WWE
if Cena left most would be asking "where is cena did he retire?"
as they did with angle, hardy and anderson
The fact is, if your a smark enough to follow wrestlers you know of TNA alredy and most likely "watch it" or "dont" snd it wont chnage anything, and if you dont, then them going there wont matter

Any one of those big names would increase ratings, even if only a couple of percent...and a couple of percent for a company like tna is a big deal in terms of ratings...and hardcore fans of whoever they stole away from wwe would now be watching tna instead of wwe...how that isnt a good thing on a number of levels is beyond me

Punk/Cena...or Miz/Orton/Sheamus/Ziggler/Bryan

Weren't always big names. They became big names over time and TNA could do the same to their own talent.

Re: As a TNA fan...it hurts me to say this

Not going to happen. People clearly have not been watching this company for many years. If they had they would know its not going to make this company bigger. They are doing right now whats going to make them bigger.

People really need to stop focusing on what is happening in the wwe and how that should be part of Impact.Like the guy said above. This company is and needs to do the same.Thats why they are better then ever right now.

Roode/Aries/Daniels ect ect

That's crazy...most people watch wwe cause of the names that are there...let cena/punk/sheamus/orton/miz/ziggler/bryan leave and see what would happen...wwe wouldnt collapse but their popularity would be greatly decreased

Re: As a TNA fan...it hurts me to say this

I never said anything about WWE lossing stuff or not, I said that they would not care about the guy who left, most sitll dont know where angle hardy or any of them all, even on this forums, one of the most snark places of the erth you still have many who have NO clue angle is in TNA

also they dont watch WWe cause the names are there, most dont even know TNA exist, or anything but WWE

TNA could do the same thing to a degree...Its much easier to make someone a huge name when you already have 100's of millions of eyeballs watching your product...tna cant do the same thing to the same level as wwe if they dont have people watching their product, no matter how good it is...You could have 100% of tna fans thinking austin aries is the best thing since sliced bread...but if the other 90% of the wrestling fanbase pie doesnt care or know who he is...your company isnt going anywhere
