Main Event Mafia
A problem that I feel Main Event Mafia storyline had was lack of true factions. The M.E.M had their own hierachy, but then it changed when they started siding with World Elite ( a group which mostly consisted of young guys) and when the Frontline (who truly never had an actual roster started siding with legends). They should've been booking the entire show as legends vs. young ones and not just heel vs face.
It should've been
MEM: Sting, Angle, Steiner, Booker, Nash, Team 3D, Tara (Godmother/First Lady of the Mafia)
vs.
Frontline: AJ, Samoa Joe, Beer Money, Daniels, ODB & MCMG
Than have Jarrett feud with Morgan & Foley continue his feud with Abyss. Have Neal come back and feud with Rhino
Bound For Glory 2009 could've than been set up as.
MCMG vs. Beer Money vs. Steiner/Booker vs. Team 3D-TNA World Tag Team Championships
LAX vs. British Invasion vs. M.E.M Security (Sally Boy & Rocco) (# 1 Contender for Tag Championships)
Tara vs. ODB-Knockouts Championship
Jesse Neal vs. Rhino
Kevin Nash vs. Christopher Daniels- Legends Championship/X-Division Championship Unification (TNA should've built the X-Division title as the mid-card belt for the young guns and the Legends as the mid-card belt for the old guys)
Abyss vs. Mick Foley-Monster's Ball
Matt Morgan vs. Jeff Jarrett-Passing of the Torch
Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle-One last time
AJ Styles vs. Sting-Retirement Match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, (Loser retires, winner gets the World Title).
Have all the young guys go over, and some how fade the MEM into the background. With the young guys on top of TNA, then TNA could start building up some new faces (at that time) such as Pope, Desmond Wolfe, D'Angelo Dinero, Eric Young, LAX, etc.
