Why won't TNA move to the UK
Look at this, seriously go to youtube put in Sting and James Storm vs Bobby Roode and Bully Ray
its the first result (on the youtube channel) listen to the crowd its unreal
compare that to any of the shitty crowds at the impact zone... full of ungrateful lazy tourists who dont pay a cent to view, or the 100 or so spoilt marks who are at every taping singing `this is awesome`
i guarantee you not one impact zone regular purchases ANY tna ppvs!!
the UK has a huge demand for TNA.. tna need to move there!! not the entire roster but the stars
move them around 1 month in uk one month in the us
but that shitty impact zone is totally dragging tna down and making it look so much more small time
look at that clip above and see what a pop tna get in the uk

Re: Why wont TNA move to the UK
Ok be realistic here for a second your talking about convincing a whole roster of people that including wrestler, Creative, Production everything to the UK than having to cancel all the house shows they have already set for shows in the US because they can't effort to travel back and foward. Thats alot of F'ing Money

Re: Why wont TNA move to the UK
I wish people weren't so stupid....
the UK has good attendance because it comes once a year. I'm sure if Florida got TNA once a year, it'd look better than the Impact Zone.
And just no. Eventually fucks will stop being given and they'd have to start over again in the US. Not to mention that most of the workers are American and have families over there.
Too much is wrong with this question and sadly, you're not the first to ask.
Oh and as for anyone in the Impact Zone not purchasing PPVs, neither does anyone in the UK....

Re: Why wont TNA move to the UK
Even as a Briton thats a stupid idea. I agree TNA should do even more in the UK as the market has more potential, but no wrestler will want to move to the UK and see their family even less than they do already. TNA don't have the money to run in arenas every week especially in anotherr country, and it would probably mean no live shows.

Why would you want a bunch of Americans setting up shop in your country? Do you know crude we are? Aj Styles would be driving down some road shouting out "asshole" at every driver he passed. You know we drive on the right side of the road right? Total cultural chaos...

Exactly. IDK why anyone would think TNA moving to the UK is good idea.

They didn't cut down because they couldn't afford it. They cut back because they can make the same amount of money by or even more by just running 4 PPV's. They are still taping 8 special PPV shows so they are still have to pay the talent and employees for those dates.

Re: Why wont TNA move to the UK
I'm a Brit and this is a bad idea. We do not have a wrestling industry at all and the buzz surrounding TNA would die out pretty fast.

Re: Why wont TNA move to the UK
The OP is full of it. Living in Orlando and being a TNA fan, I'm at the Impact Zone for almost every live show or taping, and for the last 2+ years, I've bought almost every VIP PPV package that they've offered. That's comes to almost $1000 a year plus I've bought merch (DVDs and clothing) plus in-ring photos.
Yes, there's curious uniformed tourists that come in but sometimes they're most boisterous than the jaded regulars and it's opportunity for TNA to gain new fans. There's also a good number of hardcore fans that come in from all over when they're visiting on holiday including large groups from the UK, and they pay a 'donation' of $10 to get in.
I'm no audio expert but the way that TNA mic the audience, it comes across much quieter on TV, ergo I can barely hear an in-ring promo when I'm at the show due to the crowd noise but I can hear it fine on TV and I'm using sitting in the first row ringside.
Of course it would be better for TNA to be on the road every week like WWE and filling up large arenas with paying fans but that's easier said than done, and TNA doesn't want to end up like WCW. Blaming the Impact Zone fans doesn't cut it.
