You just proved m,y point, they can make more money in the long run by not having more ppvs, just there is no way they can do what op asked

they will make the same, or more, with less effort, just they where not making a profit (in terms of the fact if they did 12 or 4 4 is the better choice right now)

That's comes to almost $1000 a year plus I've bought merch (DVDs and clothing) plus in-ring photos.

Yes, there's curious uniformed tourists that come in but sometimes they're most boisterous than the jaded regulars and it's opportunity for TNA to gain new fans. There's also a good number of hardcore fans that come in from all over when they're visiting on holiday including large groups from the UK, and they pay a 'donation' of $10 to get in.

I'm no audio expert but the way that TNA mic the audience, it comes across much quieter on TV, ergo I can barely hear an in-ring promo when I'm at the show due to the crowd noise but I can hear it fine on TV and I'm using sitting in the first row ringside.

Of course it would be better for TNA to be on the road every week like WWE and filling up large arenas with paying fans but that's easier said than done, and TNA doesn't want to end up like WCW. Blaming the Impact Zone fans doesn't cut it.
Care to help me out and donate all that money you're spending? I promise it'd go to a better cause..

I was only correcting the OP who characterized the Impact Zone fans as freeloaders. If you think spending a grand in a year is a lot, imagine those who spend 3 or 4 times that on just one WWE event.

Preposterous idea. I'm a Brit myself yet it would not work in the slighest, forcing all the stars to move out and travel continuously on the road is a no-go and rightly so.

However, I personally love the idea of a TNA:UK brand, where TNA allow this promotion to use it's name.

- It can do it's bit to revive the British wrestling scene.
- TNA can use it as a developmental to keep track of UK talent.
- Lower/Mid-carders and very rarely big stars from Impact Wrestling itself can make one-off appearances there throughout the year until the UK tour/tapings comes around again.

You said they couldn't afford to run 12 PPV's. They are still doing 12 shows. The difference is 4 are real PPV's that are going to be on the road and the other 8 are taped special events.

In the end they are still spending the same amount of money because talents are still coming in to do the shows and the other employees are having to work.

What they should do is move Xplosion over to the UK. Like find their version of the "Impact Zone" there and do Xplosion and turn it into a 2 hour show. Then they can kind of split their roster up and people can travel back and fourth. They just need Spike to give them a time slot for a second show because challenge already airs it.

No they are not, since they tape it in the impact zone
A. no new area cost
B. no travl exspents (cant tell you how many contracts have that_
C. no paying gas for the trucks etc

they are spending less by this whats more is, depinding on how they do the other one n ights only they wont have to pay those fees for tv deals and all the other stuff that in the end cost thousands and thousands and thousands

put shortly, they are not spending the same amount, they are cutting cost.

they are saving a lot of money by doing this be cuse they CANT keep doing 12 ppv's a year on the road, let alone go to uk

and yet people have the nerve to say that the IWC is a minority?

OP is a horrid idea unless you want the company to go bankrupt in very little time.

Yeah, it would be like having Xmas every week.

When it's once a year you get excited and make an effort. If it's once a week, you stop giving a shit.

That said, it does show that International tours could be the answer. It seems that TNA can't draw well in the States. Well in that case, what about South America? What about Canada? What about France, Germany, Spain, Australia/New Zealand?

So TNA draw well cos they're there once a year? There's a Hell of a lot of world they could visit once a year.....
