So figure this one out.

The Wrestling Observer Awards for 2012 have recently come out and TNA have both won Best Television show and Worst Promotion. Raw on Worst TV show by the way.
So that may be the first time that a promotion have won both of those shows because it used to be that the worst promotion would normally have the worst TV show.

You figure it out. I really can't think what TNA have done to once again earn the award for worst wrestling promotion in the world, then again that award was apparently a vote so maybe people be hatin.

Re: So figure this one out.

I think they are voted upon, so you would expect this. It's more that there are more fans who dislike TNA on a whole than enjoy Raw, if that makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of votes were from people who only knew WWE & TNA though so it's expected.

Overall, for me, Raw has been poor for the last year but the parts they have done right added with some great PPV moments would make WWE a better promotion for me too, even with Raw being so unenjoyable at times I couldn't watch.

Re: So figure this one out.

Do people in the industry vote? I think so. That might explain it. Impact was the best wrestling TV show, but the company itself possibly has a bad reputation due to the stuff with Daffney, not being able to wrestle for indy shows that release DVD's etc.

Honestly, but honestly, why do people give a shit about Meltzer, in any capacity? It's beyond me.

It's not only Meltzer voting. Also, the people who keep acting like Meltzer is some nobody you shouldn't listen to is beyond me. Literally everyone in the business who's been in one of the top promotions has respect for him because he's rarely off with his information, he knows a lot of the boys, hell he even talks to Vince McMahon now and then. But whatever, some people will always dislike the guy for bashing a certain promotion or wrestler or match.

Re: So figure this one out.

Seems counter productive for the worst promotion in the world, to have the best wrestling show.

Re: So figure this one out.

TNA is booked better than WWE, This causes WWE marks to get jealous and vote for TNA as worst promotion.

Re: So figure this one out.

I can see this. Here is how.

Impact Wrestling is the most enjoyable tv show. In terms of me watching a wrestling show and enjoying it I enjoy Impact must more than Raw or Smackdown. Better wrestling, more interesting storylines, and amazing looking women.

But, as far as a wrestling promotion goes I see where TNA is lacking. They don't promote thier show very well on Spike. They don't make thier PPVs can't miss. Their lacking a major star. A lot of thier wrestlers look more like local independant wrestlers than "superstars". Sometimes it seems TNA doesn't even try in the "superstar looks" department.

So I can see how this vote could happen.
