Re: Samoa Joe - World Heavyweight Champion

So...basically Joe was one of the first victims to the return of the old guard. Sounds about right.

WWE is filled with 'Good Ol' Boys' in power positions. It is just how it is, and I will keep calling WWE, Pro Wrestling in USA, as well as some of it's fans out on this because it is bollox. I do notice an apparent effort being made to mitigate this somewhat, but time will ultimately tell.

Re: Samoa Joe - World Heavyweight Champion

Both Joe and AJ world title reigns had a good beginning, but then the company went to panic mode every time the ratings dropped instead of supporting their champ. That's why in my opinion, bobby roode was the first original with a real world title reign.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Re: Samoa Joe - World Heavyweight Champion

The problem with the Samoa Joe title reign was that they took too long to pull the plug. He was hotter months before TNA finally grew a pair and decided to give him his shot. Luckily they learnt from this .. thus we have Aries main eventing
