Goldberg says the spear 'is coming', and not to WWE

- Goldberg teased a return to the ring on his Twitter earlier today. When a fan mentioned that the spear needed to be seen again, Goldberg replied, "It's coming..."

He later said that he wasn't trolling and meant what he wrote. He also stated that everyone knows his feelings about WWE, and that there was "not a chance in hell" that he would be appearing at The Royal Rumble this Sunday.

Another fan wrote, "I'm guessing this means you will never be in the WWE again?," to which Goldberg replied, "Great guess..."

Well, I can only assume that Goldberg is being careless here - as in meaning something else (Not TNA) and not being clear. Or deliberately stoking fires. But anyway, insinuating a return and not to WWE can only mean one thing - even if it wasn't his intention to start the rumor and meant something else.

Not really, if goldberg returned as a face his act would get stale FAST. While a spot as the leader of aces&eights gives him some longevity and overall credibility to the group. Then, you could work something like joe vs goldberg.

Goldberg leading Aces and 8's would be an awesome idea I think, people keep saying they won't be able to deliver on who the leader is, or it will be someone predictable like Hogan (or something silly lol).... this would be a legit bad ass surprise.

Loved Goldberg in WCW. Not gonna lie, I would mark out if Goldberg did appear on Impact, especially as the leader of A&8's. Not sure what his reason would be in leading them, but him being there would be awesome!

Obviously wouldn't happen, but could you imagine him turning up during the UK tapings in front of that crowd!?!? I'm going to the Wembley show so I would love to see that. I can dream lol!

Overall, he is probably talking about something else; perhaps a side show, or maybe Japan?

Is he still good friends with Bischoff?

I'm gonna be honest here, I would mark the fuck out. After all, it's fucking GOLDBERG, ffs.

While the Aces & Eights storyline started really well, it began to fizzle out when it took so long to unmask anyone. At this point, I think the only thing that could save the whole thing is a Goldberg reveal... I've been thinking that for months now too.

Still, it's only a pipe dream even with that cryptic information, so I certainly wouldn't get hopes up for this one. It would definitely be a big thing for TNA if it did happen though.

How? It's still going pretty strong as we are all constantly floating theories and posting rumors of who could be one of the unmasked wrestlers. If A&8s went and unmasked everyone tomorrow the angle would be over. There'd really be nothing left to follow, no more surprises, just a bunch of mid-carders in vests randomly attacking people and shooting terrible promos (Like the Shield).

The anonymity the masks add give far more interest to the angle, even if the guys behind the mask have been mid-carders. There's still the intrigue that someone big could be hiding behind one of those masks, but we have to wait and see.

In the meantime, the mysteries behind the masks are basically all everyone is talking about with this stable. That's hardly "fizzling".
