Goldberg coming in to destroy Aces and Eights works, I mean it does nobody any favours in terms of creating faces for the company but at the same time Aces and Eights contains Devon and ex-WWE stars against Sting, Hogan and Bully Ray. So having somebody who can actually show some physicality definitely doesn't hurt in the current state.

But Goldberg as Aces and Eight's leader is the worst idea ever. Goldberg as heel? is an awful idea and nobody at all would gain from getting their ass handed to them by Goldberg and his gang.

Either way the chances of Goldberg in TNA are slim.

And Lesnar's been a successful heel before, it suits him. Goldberg isn't a heel, WCW proved what a terrible idea trying to make him one was.

Not really, if goldberg returned as a face his act would get stale FAST. While a spot as the leader of aces&eights gives him some longevity and overall credibility to the group. Then, you could work something like joe vs goldberg.

If Goldberg were to ever come back to wrestling he sure as hell wouldn't come back as a heel. He HATED being a heel the first time around. He wouldn't come back to wrestling after a 9-year absense to be a heel. Or to be losing matches for that matter. No way.

That being said, Goldberg has teased a return to the ring several times during the last 9 years and it's never happened (for numerous reasons). Until I see it with my own two eyes I won't believe it.

How? It's still going pretty strong as we are all constantly floating theories and posting rumors of who could be one of the unmasked wrestlers. If A&8s went and unmasked everyone tomorrow the angle would be over. There'd really be nothing left to follow, no more surprises, just a bunch of mid-carders in vests randomly attacking people and shooting terrible promos (Like the Shield).

The anonymity the masks add give far more interest to the angle, even if the guys behind the mask have been mid-carders. There's still the intrigue that someone big could be hiding behind one of those masks, but we have to wait and see.

In the meantime, the mysteries behind the masks are basically all everyone is talking about with this stable. That's hardly "fizzling".
