Goldberg says the spear 'is coming', and not to WWE

- Goldberg teased a return to the ring on his Twitter earlier today. When a fan mentioned that the spear needed to be seen again, Goldberg replied, "It's coming..."

He later said that he wasn't trolling and meant what he wrote. He also stated that everyone knows his feelings about WWE, and that there was "not a chance in hell" that he would be appearing at The Royal Rumble this Sunday.

Another fan wrote, "I'm guessing this means you will never be in the WWE again?," to which Goldberg replied, "Great guess..."

Well, I can only assume that Goldberg is being careless here - as in meaning something else (Not TNA) and not being clear. Or deliberately stoking fires. But anyway, insinuating a return and not to WWE can only mean one thing - even if it wasn't his intention to start the rumor and meant something else.

Goldberg would change the game if he comes to TNA.

Maybe Vince Mcmahon CAN SEE that his fucking PG Era is fucking up wrestling.

If all the fans are watching TNA instead of the PG Era, Vince maybe would do something.

Vince thinks he owns everyone and that he dont care if the fans dosent like it.

No, he won't.
I'm not going to the extreme by saying "NO ONE" wants him back (that's a lie) but the probability of him "changing the business" is around 0.5%

Goldberg as Aces and Eights leader could change this whole storyline around, he could say he's back for hogan because he felt that it was his fault that WCW failed and he's after revenge and wants to take over TNA, idk now just some russo booking :L

Maybe, but if no the E then who? People are discounting TNA as they're too small.... he's hardly going to go to ROH or New Japan, is he?

I think a short return (a couple of months, just to tie up the Aces and 8s storyline) would be good, get a major pop and would also probably be within TNA's budget :)lol). But as a longer signing it would be a mistake - remember he was never actually that good in the ring or on the mic, he just had a lot of charisma. Once he stopped doing 3 minute squash matches, his limitations became very obvious. And the guy is 15 years older now, too...

Personally I think he's just trolling his Twitter followers.

Highly, highly doubtful that Goldberg would ever wrestle in TNA, as for one he can't be booked as anything other than his dominant self, and would be pushed to the title rather quickly to capitalise on the hype, yet that puts them into a catch 22 as there aren't many established enough to get a great rub from dethroning him.

Gladly would spend the money on advertising campaigns for our current awesome roster rather than 45 year old "draws" that won't do shit for the company. We've seen how advertising the programs go. We get high ratings. We have star power. We have Hulk Hogan and Kurt Angle, two of the bigger "names" in wrestling (Hulk is #1/2), we also have Sting, had Foley, we have Jeff Hardy. Names do shit; advertising the product as cool will successfully hit a large demographic target. Notice how TNA carved out a star in Bully Ray by putting him on all of their advertisements and promos, promoting their wedding show with him, and this was a guy who was a mid-card jobber in WWE, who stepped up, got in shape, became one of the best characters in wrestling, and now look. Every segment he has, ratings jump; it's because he is a very marketable character, and he was marketed. Not to mention he's better at everything than most of the roster.

Goldberg wouldn't do shit, TNA has 4 names that are bigger than him right now, just advertise the product more.

I hope TNA have learned from the last time they threw copious amounts of money at STARS to try and buy CREDIBILITY.

Dumb quick fix move that will leave them out of pocket in a year. Unless they can secure the money outside of the company's pocket. That's the only way this makes sense.

No one even knows if Goldberg draws anymore. Guy hasn't been relevant in a decade, outside of fans making fun of Ryback.
