Goldberg says the spear 'is coming', and not to WWE

- Goldberg teased a return to the ring on his Twitter earlier today. When a fan mentioned that the spear needed to be seen again, Goldberg replied, "It's coming..."

He later said that he wasn't trolling and meant what he wrote. He also stated that everyone knows his feelings about WWE, and that there was "not a chance in hell" that he would be appearing at The Royal Rumble this Sunday.

Another fan wrote, "I'm guessing this means you will never be in the WWE again?," to which Goldberg replied, "Great guess..."

Well, I can only assume that Goldberg is being careless here - as in meaning something else (Not TNA) and not being clear. Or deliberately stoking fires. But anyway, insinuating a return and not to WWE can only mean one thing - even if it wasn't his intention to start the rumor and meant something else.

This is just speculation and everyone is already taking sides on this xD
WWE wants former attitude era guys, if they hired wheelchair nash they will definitely hire goldberg and the same can be said for TNA.

He actually tried to have a deal with WWE around WM 27 because it was in Atlanta and wanted to have a match for his son but WWE showed no interest in him.

Is everyone seriously believing him? He could easily say he isn't going to WWE just to get everyones mind off of it, which it is working. And then BAM! Royal Rumble comes around and he makes his return to win. Rock wins and we see Goldberg v. The Rock for the title. It might happen, and it might not. But how many people can truly believe he will sign with TNA?

He is coming back to WWE. After spoiling his return he was probably told to actually say he isn't going to WWE and is done with them. To properly shock us.

How do you know he has a following and that people want him back ? Nothing proves he would draw. Lesnar was a big UFC draw but he wasn't popping big buyrates with WWE last year. It's all guesswork that he would draw...the first TV appearance and PPV might be up but after that can he sustain ? Hogan did not sustain after popping with his first Impact appearance, so what proves Goldberg will ?

there is no way TNA could reel in the big fish that is Goldberg, He wont go to WWE for all of Vince's gold and silver, he certainly wont be persuaded by TNA chump change and even smaller ratings than that of the struggling WWE numbers. It would be cool to see a return of Goldberg on either side, but i don't see it happening. People gotta remember he is only getting older.

But to the people saying Goldberg wouldn't pop If he showed up in TNA. They wouldn't bring Goldberg back as a "suprise" kind of thing. Not even Dixie Carter is that fuckin stupid.
If you are a booker and you somehow manage to sign Goldberg you advertise the fuck outta it and Hype that return until it is one of the most talked about things in the wrestling business to get the ratings your show desperately needs, you dont just have one of the biggest names in the Wrestling Free Agent pool run out middle of a thursday show or even PPV without mad commercial adverts and build up.

You have got to wonder what shape he is in after being out of the gym so long. I mean I remember him doing things for the Strikeforce MMA brand and even then it was clear that he had lost a lot of his muscle mass...

Sorry but unless Goldberg was at least 80% of the size he used to be, it just would not be right to me...His character centers around being a huge athlete with explosive power and strength.

I'm sorry, "being out of the gym for so long"? The man trains 6 days a week unless injured or ill and has done since leaving the WWE. He's probably in better shape than most wrestlers 10 years younger than him.

This picture was taken a couple of weeks ago:

Ok.OK William H.Goldberg isn't joining TNA nor will you see him jobbing at the rumble. If anything he was bored on twitter ..What if HH tweeted that he signed Mark Calloway but not to TNA would the wrestling experts say to that. I'm gonna stick to my guns and sayhe was talking about something else isn't the jackhammer his finisher? And Wth sign tank Abbott too then and Ken Shamrock and Frank.Bring in all old mma fighters form a new division fire bully ray and just get rid of aces and eights tazz pissed me off tna lost all respect from me tonight ken anderson looks like a dweeb wearing that crap ohhhhhh wow I mention the bikes of the bikeless biker gang and you have a bike promo but fire bully and make austin aries a mime and put the strap on daniels and let jeff go ...but adding goldbergs ego would be window licker retahded form a mma div and do something fresh ...

I mean Goldberg has been linked with TNA in the past and have held talks with him. But his pay demands are far to high and the only way they could get him is by getting help from Spike TV. He would cost more than Hulk Hogan. TNA has not brought in a big name for 2 years now and instead trying to develop there own talent, rather than going out and finding someone else from the 90's to come in. I very much doubt he is coming to TNA, but never say never.
