No, he won't.
I'm not going to the extreme by saying "NO ONE" wants him back (that's a lie) but the probability of him "changing the business" is around 0.5%

Err he actually did help the ratings and PPV buys when he was around. The WWE was pleased, especially with the bump in PPV buys for Extreme Rules.

And yeah, the connection you tried to make between the Goldberg and Albert chants makes you look like an idiot. Not only were they on completely different levels of stardom, but they also were chanting "Albert" to mock and antagonize Tensai. They chant "Goldberg" at Ryback because he's a cheap knockoff of one of the biggest draws of the prior decade.

Fans chanting Goldberg at Ryback does not prove they want him back. They were mocking Ryback too. Some fans want him back but how many WWE fans would watch TNA just because of Goldberg and or buy TNA PPV's ? You guys are assumimg he is a big draw in todays market and in strong demand from wrestling fans without a shred of real evidence.

Brock helped WWE get 250k buys for ER...up 40k IIRC. And Summer Slam had a 50k increase. By comparison CM Punk raised MITB 2011 buyrate by 30k with his Summer of Punk storyline. And The Rock raised WM buyrates by 250k with WM 27 and 350k with WM 28.

I kind of have to agree here.

People don't always remember just how phenomenally over 'Berg was at one time. He was literally the third most popular wrestler in just about the most popular era for wrestling ever. His popularity then pretty much dwarfs almost everyone's now within the product at least. And certainly exceeds TNA's by a fair margin.

But that was over a decade ago. And he's no spring chicken. It's a little late to be pushing this button now, if they do. It could help for a bit but at his point it's unlikely to be a game changer.

Goldberg as Aces and Eights leader could change this whole storyline around, he could say he's back for hogan because he felt that it was his fault that WCW failed and he's after revenge and wants to take over TNA, idk now just some russo booking :L

About 98% of WWE fans who don't watch TNA now, wouldn't all of the sudden do because of a Goldberg. But then again, absolutely nothing and nobody can change that. You could probably switch CM Punk AND Cena over to TNA and they still wouldn't be interested.
... and for the assuming part: no we don't have real evidence - about as much as you do that he wouldn't draw at all.

You are stupid. WrestleMania last year did its biggest buyrate of all time and all you have to do is listening to the WWE conference calls/look at the numbers to realize that WWE is in very good shape and there is no 'fucking up' happening.

Maybe, but if no the E then who? People are discounting TNA as they're too small.... he's hardly going to go to ROH or New Japan, is he?

I think a short return (a couple of months, just to tie up the Aces and 8s storyline) would be good, get a major pop and would also probably be within TNA's budget (). But as a longer signing it would be a mistake - remember he was never actually that good in the ring or on the mic, he just had a lot of charisma. Once he stopped doing 3 minute squash matches, his limitations became very obvious. And the guy is 15 years older now, too...

Personally I think he's just trolling his Twitter followers.
