Completely agree with you. I just know that we have a lot of marks for sammi callihan (i am one of them) and the briscoes (once again i am one of them). Just trying to give some people hope that TNA signs them (i am one of them)

JUST READ THIS ON TNAINSIDER AND THEY CITED THE TNA WEBPAGE AS A SOURCES

TNA posted the following on their website:

A MESSAGE TO OUR LOYAL FANS REGARDING THE GUT CHECK CHALLENGE

In January, we launched the Gut Check Challenge as an online competition to give many independent wrestling stars a chance to showcase their talents and potentially earn a spot on the IMPACT WRESTLING roster.

However, due to a number of issues with the voting - and in fairness to all the competitors - we have decided to suspend the Gut Check Challenge.

We will be re-launching the contest in the near future with a new voting system that will eliminate the voting issues. Stay tuned to our website for updates - and thank you for your continued support of TNA and IMPACT WRESTLING!

The briscoes shouldn't be forced to run around for contracts anymore, it's really sad.

they used my tactic, I bet 10 bucks these new polls won't show the number of votes.

- End the voting
- Claim some technical "problem"
- Open a new one without showing live results like the twitter poll
- Announce the winners on impact

I would definitely expect the new polls to not show the number of votes. I would also expect them to be more choosy with who actually ends up in the competition. Rather than just include over 300 people that have taken part in past seminars, I think they'll narrow it down to a field of people that they'd actually be interested in having appear on Impact.

No kidding.

I look at it and saw a ridiculous big list and said forget it.

Among the top independent workers being evaluated were ROH stars Adam Cole and Mike Bennett, DGUSA stars Samurai Del Sol and Ricky Reyes, north east worker Smith James and Extreme Rising’s Luke Hawx. We can confirm that Sami Callihan the Briscoe Brothers were not there.

The talent will be informed within 2-4 weeks about whether they will be offered a developmental contract.
Jay Briscoe confirmed that he and his brother weren't going to be there ages ago on Twitter. Shame TNA's going to miss out on Cole but TNA is in talks with a fairly big indy name.

I really hate what happened with this people exploited the system hard. I didn't even know you could make scripts to vote for people in a poll. Good idea but the execution was flawed and since it was flawed people just spawned the system and exploited it.

Sucks.
