What exactly was the TNA Cross the Line Era? What were there goal? Was it just there away of saying they're going to be doing mature programming, (i.e. their own Attitude Era)

It was a better era than now, that's what it was.

To seriously answer though, I don't think they knew. It was just a slogan, I guess. Cross the line from the WWE to TNA..iono.

That's the way I interpreted it too. When Anderson debuted he said "looks like I just crossed the line" but I guess it could mean anything really.

Regardless what it was the name is brilliant for wrestling. Once we get another show they should name it that.Maybe if we acutely get Impact Wrestling as the entire brand name.Which as i see more and more be changed to that name.Seems thats the game plan.We could get

Reaction is also an amazing wrestling name.Why do we watch wrestling ? For a reaction.The main show could be called Reaction as its the story telling show for the company.When we are getting a reaction from all the random stuff happening.Cross the line could be the alternative edgy show.Be so epic.More bad ass..

This is what they should do. These are perfect names for a wrestling show.
Reaction is a great name for a 2 hour wrestling and story telling show.

Cross the line is a perfect edgy alternative 1 hour show name

I'd like to see some secondary TNA programming. Maybe add Xplosion (or a new show called Cross The Line) to Spike on weekends or something. (Either in iMPACT's old Saturday night time-slot, or perhaps at 7//6 central on Sundays (as they could use it as a live hype show for their 4 PPV's each year - though they already had a live hype show for BFG; maybe they could add those anyway and have it on a different night - like Wednesdays (as they could use it to hype iMPACT the next night; while also using it to further mid-card story-lines - and possibly one main event level storyline)...

True a weekend show could be good.Also the episode right before a big ppv could be like you said a pump up episode.Kinda like how They have different themes for impact wrestling like championship thursday and open fight now.

Wonder if they'll add another show before the end of 2013. Seems like they might be attempting to go on the road full time first (as no iMPACT tapings for 2013 beyond the last ones have been announced (though they usually don't have them announced very far in the future - I'm surprised that they haven't announced one for March (prior to Lockdown) though)) - maybe they intend to tape 2 full episodes of iMPACT for the first UK taping night, followed by half of one more, with the second half of that episode being taped on the second UK taping night, followed by two episodes. With no wait between the commercial breaks, it's possible (and I personally think it would be good to be on the road all the way to Lockdown, I suppose we'll all find out TNA's intentions heading into Lockdown soon enough).
