Re: Waste of pyro

They could do without pyro entirely as far as I'm concerned, and spend that money on advertising.

Re: Waste of pyro

They don't spend money on Pyro. Its from the effects department in Universal. Its part of their entertainment contract with Universal. TNA can only use licensed and registered firework display from the on site special effects lot. They get access to it when they put their name down to film at the studio. They get it alone with the lighting and LED screens when they sign a contract with Universal. Its why the pyro is so piss poor. You literally cant use anything more powerful because the ceiling is so low. Its the safest effects. If it wasn't free TNA probably wouldnt use it at all. I dont believe they use it outside the Impact Zone.

Watch the on-the-road PPVs before 2010. They all had pyro. They stopped using pyro when they changed their entrance set at BFG 2010.

Re: Waste of pyro

screw you, I always mark for hogan's pyro.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Same here. I love the ridiculousness of it. If it was up to me there'd be "pyro 'n' posing" every time Hogan came on screen.... Going into his office, walking down the corridor, coming out the toilets......

I love Hogan's pyro!

What if WCW won the Monday Night Wars?

Here's what I think would have happened: http://inthesquaredcircle.blogspot.c...ight-wars.html

I don't know where you get this knowledge, but I'm impressed. Repped for setting me straight.

I agree op, unless TNA gives him a world title run his career will have been a failure.

$10 worth of advertising won't go far...
