Wedding bells will ring on Thursday's IMPACT broadcast as Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan will be married LIVE in the middle of the ring! The big question is, how will Brooke's father - the legendary Hulk Hogan - react to the wedding? Will he let his daughter marry Bully Ray? Or, will he use his power to try and stop the ceremony from taking place? The entire wrestling world will be watching on Thursday night to find out what happens!

Thursday's IMPACT will also feature the aftermath from the "Genesis" event! Jeff Hardy is still the World Heavyweight Champion after defending the gold against Austin Aries and Bobby Roode! What's next for "The Charismatic Enigma" as the road to March's "Lockdown" begins? Tune in and find out!

Also at Genesis: Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez retained the Tag Team Title, Rob Van Dam beat Christian York to keep the X Division Title, Velvet Sky is the new #1 Contender to the Knockouts Title, Christopher Daniels beat James Storm to earn a shot the World Heavyweight Championship on the January 24 IMPACT, and "The Icon" Sting returned to action and beat D.O.C. from the Aces and Eights!

Also on Thursday's IMPACT on SpikeTV, the contestants from TNA GUT CHECK will face the judges! Will they earn contracts and become members of the roster - or will they fall short in their quest to make it big in pro wrestling?

All this and much more on Thursday's IMPACT WRESTLING broadcast on SpikeTV at 8/7c

The Tazz ending was shocking and humorous, but mostly humorous. I didn't see it coming, neither did I really care when it happened. I mean, it's Tazz. The guy hasn't been good in 10 years or relevant in 12. I'm open to seeing where they go with this, although it's not the kind of thing that's instantly going to save A&8s for me. Nor is it going to convince me that the last 7 months were well spent.

Time well spent filming and going through with an entire wedding. Did we really need all those entrances and the entire ceremony? The ending with the A&8s massacre was kind of cool though. Reminded me of KB a little.

Once again, I find myself enjoying whatever Bad Influence and Aries/Roode are doing, and little else. I think I'd actually enjoy the show more if all the writers/bookers were fired and the talent was just allowed to go out and do their thing.

The tag match was pretty good, and King is ready.

I'm really looking forward to Daniels/Hardy next week. I'd love to think that there might be a chance for Daniels. Instead I'll just hope that he's given a run sometime in '13.

Aries/Roode are like Bad Influence in that they probably shouldn't compliment each other quite as well as they do. Now I don't want to see them apart. Shame they're feuding with the Mexicants. Hopefully they can take the belts back and restore some faith in the tag division.

Please do something different with BULLY :(

So let me get this straight. The fat guy who can't wrestle, who's a horrible announcer most of the time when he even cares about his job and was so great at being a manager that a month in they took him off of that is now an A&8s member for no particular reason. Only good that can come from this is if they just take him off commentary.

Rest of the show was meh besides the good tag and Velvet being utterly awful as usual. At least Bradley's in.

Overall it was a largely average Impact, not one of the best as of late. The tag team match was definitely the highlight, providing a solid encounter. The Kim versus Sky bout was also decent enough, the rest of the show was just quite run of the mill and forgettable to be honest. Tazz turning was a big disappointment, considering the potential candidates (Styles? Bully? Even Brooke, as bad an actress as she is).

Full recap on my blog.

I can't be the only one glad Tazz is in Aces & Eights for the sole reason that when he said "Is it hot in here?" I had a sinking feeling in my stomach he was going to strip.

Any real fan who wasn't shocked by Taz out of all people joining Aces & 8's is kidding themselves that was a damn good twist that no one expected so what if the guy can't wrestle he could just as easily be a damn good voice/manager for the group which is a good thing to have in any great faction. Show overall was good and has me far more interested then anything the WWE has thrown lately other than Rock/Punk.

lets dissect this post shall we?

1) Who are you to question of someone is a real fan or not?

2) just because its shocking, doesnt make it good. Vince was revealed to be the higher power and that was retarded, yet shocking. David Arquette winning the title was shocking, yet retarded

3) Taz is irrelevant in 2012. Hes absurdly out of shape and looks hilarious. The guy looks like he's struggling to walk. Hes an awful commentator, he doesnt care and it shows, and they tried sticking him as a manager, and it went nowhere and kinda sucked

4) who the hell mentioned WWE? is that your defence? "well oh dear me, sure it sucked, but atleast its better than that wwe crap". Thats a horrible way to think. Shouldnt the WWE sucking give TNA more drive to put together a good show to draw the disenfranchised audience? You might as well "well sure that segment wasnt that great, but it sure beats colon cancer"

great show
dint realise it had only 3 matches..i was fully intrigued
TNA rally built the wedding up!
Taz turning was a nice swerve..

Meatball Marinara Taz :lmao

It was shocking definetely, they got what they wanted (had people talking). Of course he's not the leader so i don't know what people complaining about. He will be the mouthpiece and nothing else. They only had this reveal for shock value.

Say what you want about Taz but that reveal was executed very well. It was pretty awesome actually how it unfolded and how Aces & 8s crashed the wedding. The wedding was cheesy but I thought Aries/Roode & the swerve made it worthwhile. Lol @ Brooke popping out of her dress, again!

Great execution and visual swerve aside, the thing is... TNA had a chance to shake things up, finally, and then TAZ happens. Sure, the A&Es got their heat back, but it doesn't matter when next week they're gonna lose two matches at minimum.

I agree Joe. The reveals of Devon at BFG and Taz last night were executed almost perfectly but the lasting impact (no pun) would mean so much more if the reveal actually takes the angle to the next level. What does Taz being in the Aces & 8s mean? Are they stronger now that he has been revealed? It would help if bigger names or more important players were in these well executed reveals added with some big wins from the group. However, I sense TNA are going for a very slooowww burn with this angle and that is causing a lot of interest to fade.

TBH, I liked the way they revealed Taz. When he first started talking I was thinking "What the hell?". Then when he started taking off his jacket I was like, "Don't tell me..." Then when the crowd gasped I was like, "He is, isn't he." And then he turned around and I thought, "Wow".

I still don't think it should have happened tonight. Bully should have turned instead. My guess is they want Bully to earn Hogan's trust and then swerve him.

Last night, even as Hogan was on the ground after the beating he took from Aces & 8s he was telling Brooke to check on Bully who was also hurt. I think he is starting to come around to accepting or at least trusting him and what you said just may happen with Bully swerving Hogan when we least expect it.
