Eddie Guerrero, Chris Jericho, HBK, Kurt Angle, RVD, Daniel Bryan...long list of guys who were 6 feet and under. AJ Styles, the man who was the face of TNA for years and former TNA World Champion is under 6. And MMA/Pro Wrestling crossover Ken Shamrock was 6 feet tall.
And little guys can and do sell and draw when booked and used correctly.

I'm sorry but Aries looked like a little boy next Hardy on Genesis. It was a good point by someone here that Aries lost size and maybe that played into it. That visual was not good for Aries.

And that's YOUR opinion, but it does not make you right. The difference is you seem to be touting your opinion as fact or truth. However it appears the majority opinion on here is that nobody cares that he was shorter than Hardy, they seemed to prefer the caliber of Main Event that Aries delivered when given the chance than the fact that he is shorter than everyone else in the upper card. I also read all of about 3 maybe 4 posters opinions that Aries looks small next to Hardy...the hundreds and hundreds of other opinions I read made no mention of the height differential, they were more interested in the actual wrestling match and the quality of the matches they have had.
Pro Wrestling has evolved, and smaller and or more undersized guys have become more and more tolerable and relevant in the main event.
Hulk Hogan put Aries over in a very strong fashion, and not just on Impact but in media interviews as well. CM Punk also put Aries over after he won the TNA World title...two guys who come from different eras and possess two different mindsets towards the business but both recognize that it's not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog. VKM put a World Title on Daniel Bryan...then put that same Daniel Bryan in WWE Title matches with CM Punk....ON PPV. 5 years ago nobody would have believed that to be possible, but even VKM is evolving with the sport.
Guys who have signed or are going to be working tryouts or dark matches that the WWE is interested in currently : PAC, Generico, Sami Callihan, Adam Cole...all guys under 6 feet tall. Again in case you missed the point, the sport is evolving and size is becoming less relevant.

Roy Nelson could sit on Aries for five but that's not what we are talking about

MMA has played a role in size becoming less relevant in the mindset of just how tough or strong someone truly is and whether they can beat bigger opponents and or become Champions.
Frankie Edgar was shorter than everyone he was facing in the LW division... and was a World Champion. While GSP was shorter than most of the guys he has defended against in the WW division. But they fight bigger than their size indicates. Just like Aries.
