Lightbulb UK fans it's time for change

https://www.change.org/petitions/tna...re_before_sign

uk fans are you sick of having to stream every live ppv and impact wrestling show ?

i was on twitter during the genesis ppv and i had an argument with a certain tna official who basically told me to stop streaming the ppv. now i told this certain induvidual that mayby if we actually got the chance to watch impact live in the uk we wouldnt have to stream ppv's and tv shows.

so im asking the uk tna fans of wrestling forum to sign my petition and hopefully we can get dixie and challenge tv to change there minds

I was hoping this was a thread to rally the UK fans going to the tapings to keep "We Want Petey" chants going all night. Unfortunately it isn't and I am disappoint.

Would you wait three days to watch a PPV when you can watch it live online?

If they can't do it live (1am start time here) then move it to Monday.

I could see them possibly moving it to Monday nights - not LIVE though, and it shouldn't be that way.
I'm from the UK myself and it's frustrating but it hardly makes sense to charge people in the US $35 to watxh it LIVE whilst we're getting it for free at the exact same time.

Its not just how long we have to wait, Its when we do get it, They have adverts in it, I refuse to watch a PPV with adverts, you just get into a match, then they go to a adbreak, I'm fine waiting but until we get PPV's advert free, I'll continue to download them..We should get them sooner though, 3 days is too long to wait, people are bound to stream/download..

Jesus Christ. How ridiculous.

The best thing you could get out of this is for TNA to turn around and say right, you complain when it's free so we'll go live but you have to pay the same amount as we charge in the US.

Ungrateful fuckers will still stream it.

You say you have surveyed 100 people, who? Your friends on Twitter, some people on a chat room?

This is truly ridiculous. Challenge TV has done more for UK wrestling the last few years than any other mainstream channel has since the 1980s, as well as giving us a competent wrestling show that features genuine wrestlers and great matches and is widely cited as the #2 promotion, for free and that's still not good enough.

If you don't want spoilers, then don't go onto sites that can spoil it. You will say that there are people that will spoil it for you, but that's your problem and not TNAs or Challenge TVs.

You are massively spoiled for this.

As mentioned, the only problem I have with TNA is the adverts but that's where Sky + or Virgin Media comes in or even a bit of patience.

To the OP, would you rather pay £30 a month to watch TNA live, or have it for free a couple of days later?

My friends and I all work Monday mornings so can never watch a PPV live anyway. This isn't the year 1998 where you watch it or miss it. Have some patience and stop whining about getting something for free that 80% of it's fans have to pay for, like a spoiled brat.

Yeah nothing will change, Challenge is the only place you can see TNA legally. It's doing good for Challenge but Sky Sports (or anyone big in UK TV) would NEVER sign TNA. Do you want TNA on BBC so there's no ad breaks?

Be happy that you can see TNA for free (Challenge is on Freeview right?)

Expecting it to be live, ad-free and free (!) is ridiculous, IMO.

That said, there is a strong case for Challenge to move Impact from Sunday to Friday nights and the PPVs from Wednesday nights to Mondays. I much prefer watching Impact on TV rather than on Youtube, but I always do as I can't wait 3 days to see what happens.

I refuse to watch the PPVs online, though. 4 hours is too long to be sitting at a computer watching pixellated images when I could wait a few days and watch it on my sofa on a big screen TV.

Considering Challenge show Impact 2 (or is it 3?) times a week anyway, I don't think a Friday night showing of Impact is too much to ask. But there have to be ad breaks! How do you expect Challenge to pay for it, otherwise?

The ads are the biggest issue but with it being on free tv it'll always be there. I tend to use to wednesday replay to just catch any match i want to rewatch in better quality. i cant sit through 4 hours of wrestling for a b ppv.

I doubt they'll change. Best thing you could maybe hope for would be live impact and that'd probably be a stretch.

technically its only 3 hours without an ad break. theres usually a high quality download available the next day but i can appreciate your point since i also way prefer watching wrestling on tv. my housemates arent massive fans though so i can only really do it when im not at uni
