Sounds great though, finally one of the big wrestling companies broke away from the model that worked when wrestling was drawing 6 million viewers a week

What if WCW won the Monday Night Wars?

Here's what I think would have happened: http://inthesquaredcircle.blogspot.c...ight-wars.html

I'm down for this if this means that all of the PPV's are outside of the Impact Zone.

I wonder how this affects "option C", with no Destination X to host it. It's a cool stipulation and would be a shame to lose it.

Edit: Beaten to it by hu_baddboi.

Great news. Should mean better build and better PPVs. Excited to see what the specials are

WWE does PPVs in arenas and do well over 100,000 buys for each PPV. WWE's grossed over $100 million dollars from PPVs alone in 2012. They dont need to be cutting PPVs anytime soon.

But they better understand that now they have to plan better for the builds to the four live ppvs. Thought they would cut it to 8 or 6 so we'll see. The gimmick specials seem hit or miss to me because how many of those can you actually do?

That's exactly what WWE should be doing again.

Rumble,WM,Summerslam,Survivor Series as the big 4. Then 3-4 gimmick PPV and the rest are those "in your house" ppvs.

Main PPVs are one price. 2nd level PPVs are another, 3rd level are another.

But does this mean that only the 4 PPVs events are on PPV and the rest are free or something?

Sucks that the dx stip will most likely be thrown to the dump cause of this though

Do I really have to say anything?
