You started the whole BFG vs Wrestlemania bullshit in a completely irrelevant thread. Do people really fight about that!? Who cares, buy the one you prefer. OR EVEN BOTH :O

Anyway, less of that stick to the subject. Is the PPV change too innovative for you kid? Keep progression out of wrestling eh... at least TNA are trying to fix the mistakes they have made, and they deserve credit for that.

Try thinking.

I didnt respond to your opinion. I responded to your lack of opinion. There is a difference.

And every single wrestling fan obviously hasnt been begging for less PPVs. Otherwise WWE's PPV average in 2012 wouldnt have been significantly up. And 80% of every single wrestling fan has no idea what "TNA" is.

Questions about the $100 million from ppvs the WWE made.

1. Where does this figure comes from?
2. Is it a combination of buys, gates and merchandise sold at the ppvs?
3. If you take away Mania from the lineup, how much money is the other shows bringing in?
4. Is this figure before or after PPV providers, etc. get their cuts?

This move was made for money reasons, plain and simple.

No I didn't. I commented how I would only pay $45 for one PPV (WrestleMania), and everyone began discussing it. Not my fault opinions turned into tears by the usual suspects. I was happy to leave it at that. It wasnt an opinion I felt needed challenging since its a pretty common one.

Well if you cut WWE's PPVs down to 4 a year it wouldn't be half of that. WWE is a business, thus from every avenue they make money on their PPVs. Thus the need to cut down PPVs isn't in demand. Revenue is revenue at the end of the day. They certainly have a thriving PPV business in terms of their profit margin and yearly target.

WWE is a public company. Their records are publicly available. And the fact WrestleMania was the biggest buyrate in wrestling history and SummerSlam was the highest they have done in years (on top of Extreme Rules, Survivor Series, Hell in a Cell and TLC explicating last years buyrates) its obviously significantly up. That isnt even an argument.
