Well, its important because the whole angle was built on mysterious dude taking over. Personally, I think they focused on it for too long and too much. The reveal of someone like Devon, or soon to be Wes and Garrett, might be shocking, but someone like Knox or DOC aren't. And yeah, they have to do something more with these guys after they mask or else they just end up being lame grunts like DOC.
