Think it was around the time Kurt Angle joined. I remember Eurosport over here used to show a little TNA, but they had some god awful commentary.
Some swedish guy that never watched wrestling in his life trying to commentate.
The oldest memory I have I think is Sting coming down from the rafters to hit people with a bad. Just thought more wrestling was cool, watched ever since, and I thought it was better than WWE ever since Angle showed up. I remember his debut.
th sad truith that al of u cant ceem to grrasp is dat wrestlig is getig les poplar each day and no bodde caires abot it
vinse is senile at this poiint and th growth of tna has pleateuaed nd roh has nevr bin mor than his a crapy cult
I remember watching a little bit of it when it was on FSN. I think I was 12 years old when I first found it on accident. I was just channel flipping and saw Jeff Hardy and I think Raven in a match and I thought "What the heck? That's Jeff Hardy and Raven! This doesn't look anything like the WWE." It was a decent show, but I didn't watch too much of it while it was on FSN. Once they switched to Spike TV I became a bigger fan and started watching every week. Now, TNA is my favorite wrestling promotion.
Was really sad when wCw shut down and wasn't too thrilled with the way the Invasion angle turned out. The only alternative I had was NJPW tapes I would buy off some geocities website. Summer of '02 hit and I bought my first ROH tape and ordered my first TNA ppv. The one match that got me hooked was a triple threat between AJ/Ki/Lynn. It wasn't the ladder match and i'm surprised more people don't bring it up. I've been a fan ever since.
