Post What's the BEST things & the WORST things about TNA?

BEST things about TNA
  • Bobby Roode
  • Austin Aries
  • Christopher Daniels
  • Frankie Kazarian
  • Kaz & Daniels comedy duo act
  • Joey Ryan
  • Samoa Joe
  • Chrissie Hemme's ring intros
  • James Storm's Last Call kick
  • James Storm growling "SORRAY! 'bout yo daimn luck."
  • Sting
  • Brooke Hogan
  • The Knockouts
  • Christopher Daniels dancing to his own theme music
  • The anticipation of waiting for Aces & Eights to be unmasked
  • Al Snow
  • Matt Morgan's Carbon Footprint
  • Hernandez's huge shove, sending his opponent flying across the ring
  • Bully Ray
  • Bully Ray's Bubba Cutter (3D all by himself)
  • Miss Tessmacher
  • Mickie James
  • Kurt Angle's entrance
  • SoCal Val's breasts
  • The X Division
  • E.Y.'s blue star t-shirt
  • AJ Styles
  • AJ Styles' entrance
  • Samoa Joe's spinning/flying kick (opponent in the corner)
  • Abyss
  • The freedom the wrestlers have
  • Mike Tenay & Taz's comedy moments on commentary
  • Robbie E (so much better quality than a certain 'Jack Ryder')
  • Gunner's tattoos
  • Todd Keneley's Joey Ryan 'obsession'
  • Jeff Hardy's horned mask
  • TNA's love of the nostalgic e.g. Jerry Lynn vs RVD

WORST things about TNA
  • Jeff Hardy
  • Jeremy Borash's main event introductions - painful
  • Commercial breaks during matches
  • British Boot Camp
  • UK competition promos e.g. "Hi to all our great fans in the UK & Ireland..." Puke!
  • The lingering possibility that Hulk Hogan might wrestle again
  • Over connecting with mainstream culture e.g. Jersey Shore
  • The total waste of Mr. Anderson's talent
  • Jeff Jarrett's time off
  • Bully Ray talking all the way up the ramp when he's supposed to be leaving
  • Wes Brisco/D'Lo Brown - obviously planted members of Ace's & Eights
  • Jeff Hardy's inability to hit a Swanton Bomb or a Twist Of Fate correctly anymore
  • Improper use of the Knockout Tag Team titles
  • The absolute misuse of AJ Styles's talent
  • Joseph Park just forgetting about finding his brother Abyss (I know they're the same person)
  • Gut Check
  • The whole King Mo thing
  • Sam Shaw's tattoos
  • Jesse & Tara's entrance
  • Doug Williams
  • Continous mentions of WWE, WCW, ECW. We're the FANS - we fucking know what the companies were called and who was there.
  • The live crowd chanting 'WHAT?' - just stop it. Stone Cold ain't turning up anytime soon
  • Rob Terry
  • Jeff Hardy's constant changing of theme music ("Mmm.. I just don't know which one of my own songs is my favourite...)
  • Jeff Hardy declaring himself a 'brand'
  • Jeff Hardy on a microphone
  • The whole Bully Ray/Hulk Hogan falling out story (so what if Bully is slamming his daughter, it's none of Hulk's business, she is a grown woman)
  • Matt Morgan not going on a rampage and Matt Morgan not kicking EVERYONE in the face
  • The TV title not being contested every week
  • Sting's boring comeback
  • Jeff Hardy winning Wrestler of the Year 2012
  • Jeff Hardy's cringe-worthy promos
  • Jeff Hardy's entrance
  • Devon on a microphone - weird breathing, anyone?
  • Fans who love Jeff Hardy (it's getting 'John Cena' epic, it really is)
  • Jeff Hardy's 'double' world title belts - use one or use the other

This reads more like an I hate Jeff Hardy thread.

I'm going to try to deflect this thread from the obvious attempt to rant on Hardy.

Basically after too many years of insanity (yes i mean Russo's Booking), the best of TNA is a sense of planning. 2012 was a year of solid shows, great matches, a few good business moves (going live for instance), new concepts and decent and coherent storylines. There's room from improvement and the worst right now is the low investment on the Tag-tam, KO and X divisions. I think in terms of booking, TNA should book their heel stronger (like Aces and Bad Influence actually winning a match), but my biggest fear is that TNA doesn't see immediate positive signs on ratings and they go back to Russo's plan...

And why do i have the feeling that TNA is capable of screwing up their game plane?

Best:
A Double
Kenny King
The Morgan and the Big Organ
Bad Influence
Bobby Roode
Kid Kash
the Aces and Eights theme itself, just the theme.

Worst:
Dixie Carter

Best: Roster (including hardy), new concepts, no gimmicky shit since russo left and the in ring product.
Worst: The big "pay off" fails and dragging storylines for too long when you don't have enough material for it.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Dixie Carter is the main and probably the only reason TNA still exists.

Her lack of knowledge of the business also causes it's problems.
