Pope Let's TNA Contract Run Out; Done With Company

...fucked up with not doing shit with The Pope? Within his 3 years these are pretty much the only feuds he had....
Suicide
Samoa Joe
Devon (Something that went nowhere like the other two before)
And a fucked up opportunity to push both himself and AJ Styles.....
Massive waste of talent with his contract being done on the 1st.

Re: Can we speak on how TNA...[Pope related]
You know, it's been well known that Pope rubs people the wrong way. Happened in the E, probably happened in TNA.
But TNA has a WAY bigger track record when it comes to wasted talent, ruined pushes, and just screwing things up.
So yeah, I blame TNA.

Can't go off a probably, but it still doesn't change the fact that if a guy's able to bring interest to your company, you push him. I mean...I'm sure people didn't take kindly to Jeff being where he is, despite letting the company down various amounts of times.

Fixed to the right amount of people he's feuded with, justified he went miss after Genesis last year to come back and get injured.
Pope was out of place. He's was stuck in the X Division for like 15 minutes, then got this push where he was made to look like a poor man's Rock/Godfather. He's a good midcard guy. Could've been TV Champ, though. And how did they fuck up pushing him AND AJ Styles, who at the time they were feuding, was champion already for 7 months?

Wait, he's still under contract? Man, he's got a sweet deal then just sitting at home cashing cheques. Must have really rubbed people the wrong way then that they flat out don't use him anymore for a good while now. He's got a cool look, very good on the mic, decent in the ring, you'd think Lagana can use him. There was a time in 2010 when he was almost the hottest babyface in TNA, but they didn't pull the trigger because the likes of Ken Anderson and Hardy just had to be pushed. Shame.

Pope's contract was done on the 1st.
And the AJ/Pope feud was a flop because TNA decided to book it horribly. It could've went so much further than what it did.

His contract expired last week, he wrote on Twitter that he's not re-signing, so he's done.
There's a thread called "TNA Booking Mistakes" where people are swearing up and down that lateral booking moves would change where this company is now. Something that could have actually changed things is The Pope. He had the charisma, mic skill and wrestling ability to be a top star. Plus he's different than anything in the business now.
That's a true fuckup.

its TNA, he was sitting home NOT getting paid, as he was probably under pay per appearence, so he is probably happy he can now get whatever booking to bring income.

Fuck you Hogan! He went from main eventing to Xplosion jobber, at least it was his decision to leave. I doubt WWE will contact him unfortunately.
