When I first got into TNA on a regular basis it was Anderson and pope fielding for a title shot, always like pope since then and felt he should have came out on top, obv creative had different plans. The fact he's not been used at all of late makes me question a bit how much he wanted it, was he banging down doors with ideas as to how his character could be used or was he content to sit at home letting his contract run down. Still wish him the best with whatever he does now and hope he returns to TNA sometime soon.

Let him leave, TNA needs to renew talent, Anderson could be next if he doesnt step up, keep the nucleus, expel the unnecessary.

Never seen much in him but other did so that to me at least warranted a midcard postion but TNA has this nasty habit of screwing up pushes, character, matches, etc to the point where I have stopped watching/careing.

I never unstood what people see in him, when i hear the phrase "WWE reject" i immediatly have to think about Pope, Morgan and Anderson. 3 people who are heavily overrated and yet were brought in by TNA as big "stars". TNA really needs a better scouting system.
I did enjoy a few of Pope's promos though, so he definately had some talent, just not enough to make me care about him. He didnt really do anything noteworthy in TNA (mainly thanks to TNA's booking offcourse), so i doubt people will notice he is gone.

The guy had charisma but I found him very stale in the ring. Apart from going through the motions I didn't see what else he brought in the ring.

TNA didn't know how to use him though, when I got back into watching TNA he was a heel beating up that Japanese guy with a ring, then he was a face, then he was a heel feuding with Devon, then he was a face again.

His alst appearance he was kayfabe beaten down by Aces & 8s because didn't he need shoulder surgery?

Can't say I'll miss him much

Apart from being injury-prone I remember seeing an interview with him when he said he was at College studying for a Business degree (or Accountancy or Law - something like that). This may have limited his availability (although obviously, there are also the rumours of him having a bit of an attitude backstage, too, which would also explain his booking).

This could also affect his future plans. He's given the majors a shot and been dropped by both. If he's got his degree now, it's conceivable he could just stop altogether - after all, he's given it a shot, it didn't work out, and now he would undoubtedly make more money working a white-collar job than wrestling in the Indies. Unlike a lot of guys, it appears he has options outside of wrestling.

Who knows? People sometimes forget that wrestlers have their own priorities and lives outside of who wants them / how in demand they are.
