Re: Pope Let's TNA Contract Run Out; Done With Company

When this dude first appeared on TNA I was thinking "Wow, who is this guy? (I didn't know him from WWE) He's great on the mic, great look and solid in the ring." Since that first time though, yeah... I don't really remember him much. I guess that tells its own story.

Pro wrestling is supposed to be enjoyable. That is all.

I'm a huge Burke fan (as evidenced by my username), so I hope this means he goes back to the WWE. He has always had a lot of talent and charisma.

Or it tells the story of a company who doesn't know what its got. Pope was super over in 2009. He continued being over in 2010. Then he became just another victim.

Dude was over from day 1.

He was the most over guy in that asylum match.

I've honestly saw this coming for him a long time ago. He never had any sort of hype on his return before his recent injury, which implies how the writing was pretty much on the wall for his TNA career.

Never really got into him, even during his run of popularity. Hopefully he lands well somewhere
