Re: *TNA Genesis 2013 Discussion*
Everybody's already ragging on what could be a solid PPV. Is it my most anticipated? No. But let's take a look anyway, shall we? And to answer Diesel_Power, at least 4 of these matches were announced on tv.
Hardy/Roode/Aries - ME looks tight, should be good-great considering the in-ring talent. Makes sense story line wise as well.
Storm/Daniels - I get why people are brushing this off, but I think they're underestimating it. Daniels can easily cheat and win and Storm would still look strong. I have faith in a Storm and Daniels match. The talent is too good here. I expect Kaz to play into this somehow. We all wanted Daniels to face someone other than A.J. Now that he is, we complain. Have faith. He's up against one of the company's top babyfaces. This match also makes sense story line wise.
Morgan & Ryan/Guerrero & Hernandez - Bleh, I'm not really a fan of Los Stereotypicos, but they can do well in the ring. I like Morgan & Ryan's team. They're an odd pair that seems to be working pretty well with one another. I'm sure they have bigger things in store as well, due to the Hogan thing they have going on. Match should be alright and you can't say that they haven't been building to a match between the two teams (although last week's "match" was WTF? worthy.)
Sting/D.O.C. - Makes sense. Hopefully Sting's a bit less clunky in the ring than he looked last week. It'd be nice to see the Aces & Eights win though, I agree that it's important that they do. Whether that means they have another match on the card or not I'm unsure, but they should look dominant.
X-Division Tournament matches - Should be ok. I'm predicting that it'll be Kenny King up against Christian York and then RVD, although I could see York winning against King but then King interfering in the RVD match in order to push him farther as a heel. King's talented and hopefully he should pick up the title here. These matches were announced last week or so, and I think giving the Division and its title a little tournament is fine. The RVD/King scenario has been being built to as well, so that's why I'll be surprised if it's not him making it to face RVD.
Those are the six so far. There will probably be a Knockouts match, and maybe another A&8's match-up. Those seem to make the most sense with how the show's been going.
