TNA never sell out.

What do you expect ? Look at the size of those arenas. This company is still new and trying to make a name in a very low down period of wrestling. They should Never ever ever be in a arena that has 2 levels like that. 1 until its a smaller arena that is max 5 thousand. 5 should always be the limit. Why waste time trying to half sell bigger places. I would pay to see a 2500 sold Impact Wrestling event any day. Then a half sold 8 thousand person arena. Stepping to fast beyond how big they are. They should be in places that ecw filled. That are like 2500 size. That new york ballroom. I just dont get that part.

I mean you look at house shows in the right place like this. Crowd is so loud and its only like a couple thousand. Way better and this is how you build your company up. Make a show "Cross the Line" Put it in that place. You will gain some buzz. With hardly any stage set too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUv6yZjtJHg

You look like fools trying to sell bigger places then what will really happen.

The company isn't new anymore. In this day and age, it doesn't count. You could've pulled that til about 07 or so. Now? With all the names that went there to either help or get a contract cause they got released from the E....people know of the company. It's been about for a while. It's gained a reputation and the product isn't that engaging anymore because there's nothing new about it. As I said, it's just there.

Hogan and Bischoff's deals end in October 2013. Spikes deal with TNA ends in early 2014. Doesn't look good for TNA that. You can see Hogan and Bischoff leaving and Spike going "I thought these guys were supposed to be the saviour of the company? Why did we spend all that money on them?" Especially with all the money Spike puts into Bellator now. TNA isn't the company they were 2 years ago. They aren't on Spikes priority list. There's a big chance TNA could be dead in 2014.

What ? TNA still exists ?
I can't believe it ! it should have been dead in 2003 and 2004 and 2005 and 2006 and 2007 and 2008 and 2009 and 2010 and 2011 and 2012. Now we have to wait till 2014 ?

we are safe for 2013

What a load of utter garbage, you dont know what you're talking about.

TNA is by far Spikes highest rated show and will continue to be so, they are top of Spikes priority list for that reason alone by some distance.

When are people like you going to stop with the 'TNA will be dead' crap? They have TV deals in over 120 nations worldwide (up from 2 years ago), do you know how much money they get from that? Tens of millions. They are going nowhere.

Its you who obviously has no idea what they are talking about. Most of the other shows on Spike pay to be on their channel or have a give and take type of deal. A wrestling promotion is a completely different kettle of fish from every other show. Not every show spans over two hours to increase their viewership average. Every other show on Spike gets far more ad revenue because people simply wont sponsor TNA. They have a shitty local Direct Auto Insurance deal but thats about it. Spike is all about inexpensive programming. Spike has spent 10s of millions of dollars on TNA and they arent even a profitable business. Do you think if TNA was their main priority they'd have bumped them for Bellator? Spike owns a share in Bellator, so its not even a question they are the main priority.

They dont have TV deals in over 120 markets. Thats just a lie. And in the countries they are on, they are on at an ridiculous time in the morning. All those deals internationally are subject to whether they are in business or not. And if they lost Spike they would go under.

This isn't even speculation. In 2014 TNA could die if Spike chose not to renew. Or if WWE and Spike came to terms by offering Smackdown as a lead in to Bellator and they kicked TNA off the air. I'm not saying that will happen, but there is always a strong possibility. Everyone knows it anyway, so why are you getting all defensive.

Re: Tickets for Lockdown not selling well at all

Is it really to anything to do with TNA in general. Or is wrestling just dying out?!

I mean, how many kids are actually growing up these days LOVING wrestling like we did back in the late 80's - 90's. Afterall, it must seem pretty boring to them. It's just a bunch of muscley guys in boring speedo's using their real names. Where's the fun in that?!

As a kid wrestling was so exciting because of the characters, the mystery, the magic. There is none of that now, and surely it's having a knock on effect. Especially over this last decade. Wrestling is just relying on the fans who have stuck around since those days, and the last generation of kids to really love wrestling have come up through the Attitude era and are now in their mid to late 20's no doubt.

Wrestling itself is dying ..not TNA :\

Re: Tickets for Lockdown not selling well at all

Just last year I had a big discussion about some hardcore fans constantly thinking TNA is about to die at any minute and someone denied it saying such thing never happens, here's your proof.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.
