Giving hardy the belt at the expense over Austin Aries

Not allowing Austin the x belt or even making his dx match a title unification

What TNA did incorrectly

1) Present faction as Jobbers
2) Have them beat up each and every week
3) Reveal Devon, Doc and Mike Knox as members
4) Ruin angle by all 3 above.

.
an explantion as to why the tna roster can't just storm the a&8s lockeroom or promo time en mass with weapons and unmeask them would be nice

Why? Shelley isn't carrying any major injuries. He's working for New Japan at the moment and proving his can work a long schedule in a major company. He is going to WWE. Its common knowledge within the business. He'd have to go to developmental anyway to get used to the ring size and the different ropes. There's no shame in going to developmental. He wrestled for TNA and they are barely on the radar of most wrestling fans.

1. Stings return on 1/3/13 - fucking atrocious to watch and had no excitement whatsoever

2. James Storm not winning the world title at BFG- The match of year that him and Roode put on should have been the main event. Why build him up to recapturing his world title to only swerve us in the end?

3. Aries winning the world title- His title reign did nothing and he wasn't even featured like a champ should. And him winning allowed for a subpar Hardy reign we're experiencing right now.

It's not cut and dry like that, otherwise 2Chainz and Soulja Boy wouldn't be popular artists, and chicks wouldnt know what the fuck a Kesha is.

Most people here would say that 2011 wasn't a great year for TNA, yet it was the highest rated year in Impact history. 2009 was a so-so year yet it was the second highest rated year. Riddle me that.

So define booking mistakes. How is it proven that if you change the way the Roode/Storm feud ended, that the ratings and viewership do a 180? None of what's listed in the OP is something that's holding TNA back from getting higher ratings. I'm shocked people haven't figured this out by now.

I'm shocked you cant grasp what booking is. You seem to think booking for one off ratings spikes is what they are aiming for. TNA could beat WWE in the ratings every week but if nobody is buying their PPVs and nobody is going to their house shows it matters nothing. TNA seem incapable of creating stars. If James Storm was booked correctly, you would have had another name in the main event picture and you could have had a homegrown babyface to build around. Instead TNA constantly pull the rug from under their homegrown talent.

Fact is Bound For Glory did the worst number it did for years. And why would anyone buy it? TNA has educated its viewers that they wont get the right ending on their biggest shows. Bobby Roode didnt beat Kurt Angle at BFG 2011 and James Storm didnt beat Bobby Roode at Lockdown. TNA have this habit of building up their talent and putting them in positions where a loss would be damaging to them ... and then they lose. They replaced Storm with Aries and ran with Aries and as soon as they had the bright idea of putting the belt on Hardy they turn Aries heel. It makes no sense. They are so irrational.

He's broken his collarbone twice, as well as having knee problems. It was common knowledge that Gargano and McGuinness were going to WWE as well...

Having a broken collar bone which is healed is completely different from being in your 30s and having a history of arm and head injuries like McGuinness did. McGuinness is a complete wreck and would have actually been signed with WWE if he'd have got surgery to correct his problems (which he didnt). Shelley isn't hurt. He's 29 years old and works for New Japan regularly. You honestly think there aren't wrestlers in WWE who dont have knee problems or collar bone problems. Gargano is only 25 as well. He's WWE bound in the next 18 months.

Nice try though. And if Alex Shelley was a physical mess incapable of working for WWE then shame on TNA for trying to give him shit money to continue to work with them.

1. I'd say definitely bumping Roodes title reign.
2. Dropping the Roode/Storm feud only to pick it back up with less steam. (Although, I'm glad they put some closure to it or else Storm would have no
redemption)
3. Killing Storms momentum
4. Aces booking last quarter of the year (This group has been booked very weak, I thought they should steam roll everything in their path, what do I
know)
5. Stings return/the production (its seems everything has been looking sloppy for the second half of last year. Many mistakes/fuck-ups that shouldn't
happen on taped or live programming)
6. Killing Bully's heel momentum
7. Fucking up Zema's reign, only to have the strap on RVD.

On the bright side,

1. Aries was sacrificed some time as the main guy
2. Roode was solidified
3. DOC and Mike Knox have been introduced
4. Jesse and Tara has been good
5. Storm showed me he had potential that I could never see, but now do

Don't forget he blew his back out on a couple of occasions.
