Giving him fake belt would have made him stay? Why would he do that? Its money he wanted. Not a piece of tin sprayed gold. He has a belt in New Japan now anyway.

You've used them all up in a post saying someone would actually stay with a wrestling company because they give him a belt. Its like staying in an office job for shit money as long as they let you take the pencil sharpener home.

If that pencil sharpener makes you more valuable in the eyes of the consumer than yes, Yes it does.

Re: TNA Booking mistakes 2012/2013

The belts mean nothing in TNA. If they did they wouldnt let Devon leave without losing the TV title only to re-sign him once he got stripped of it. And Alex Shelley has a IWGP tag strap in New Japan. He now earns money and has a belt that means something. He made the right choice. Smart guy.

I'll say "Alex Shelley looks old. It doesnt surprise me they finally gave him a good deal after his run in WWE". I will be saying this in about 6 years time. If TNA is still around.

I highly doubt Shelley will go to WWE. He doesn't want to go to developmental and if WWE won't pick up Gargano due to back injuries, there's pretty much slim to none chance that they pick up Shelley.
