Storm eliminated Roode with the Last Call superkick.

Roode was presented the big check by Christy Hemme and So Cal Val. Storm then went into the crowd to celebrate with the fans.

[Note from Richard: for a $15 pre recorded PPV this is one to consider buying]

Re: TNA taping "X-Travaganza" & "Jokers Wild Tag Team Tournament” 3hr specials this w

they probably are working with the best that was willing to sign with them. i know TNA hasn't been kind to guys over the years to some guys, Jigsaw already was brought on for the tournament he might have been rubbed the wrong way and not wanted to come back. if this does well and the X Division takes off again we might start seeing more guys come on board. right now going for anything with the x division in TNA is taking the risk of just siting in obscurity.

Adam Cole wont go to TNA even if WWE dont take him. If WWE tells him they may bring him in, he will stick it out until the phone rings again. Its why TNA didn't sign PAC or Antonio Cesaro or Dean Ambrose or Bryan Danielson. If you are in regular contact with WWE, they wont sign with TNA.

I think Adam Cole will be picked up for sure.

With the amount of people they've got set for this X-division match there going to need a bigger ring! maybe a six sided ring ;)

The only way i would enjoy them bringing back the 6 sided ring.Is if it was a bigger size. Its just to small.Way smaller then the AAA or Lucha libra USA version. Which effects the design of the ultimate x big time.If you see the ultimate x in that ring its hardly the shape of a x.Thats why a larger 6 sided ring would make room for a proper x.

Ultimate x started in a 4 sided ring anyways. Lets hope they somewhat make these events look different other then the one night only graphic. Different ropes would be nice.

Im still badly hoping that they renovate the impact zone in feb. They have over a month and a half of zero wrestling events in that place around that time.So its perfect to re do it.

Though i love the One night only logo.Probably should have changed the color up so it feels different from Impact wrestling.

You cant have a bigger ring in the Impact Zone. The hard camera set up takes up a lot of space, so you would have to have a tight squeeze between the barrier and the ring apron, which means you'd have to cut off any dives to the outside.

They use to have a bigger ring, they have a month of no wrestling in the impact zone so it could happen, plus TNA's camera angles are bad right now, they need more room to move around, rings to close to the baricade they barely have any room to jump over the rope, they need to make that area a lot bigger

I think they can easily have a smaller custom version of that road stage set.Regardless anything new would be better then that crappy wood overy busy messy stage set they use now. Need something that is more of a identity. Instead of a bunch of random stuff.

Don't understand either of these. Or the excitement for that matter.

Tag concept is dumb. Not a fan of it and half of the guys involved are terrible.

X-Division is back...for one night. bfd. Lets cut this "one night only" stuff like with Destination X and this show and actually have it remain a constant. Wouldn't that be better? Of course it would. Petey, Red, Lynn, & Rave. Cool. I guess. They won't appear again. Not worth getting excited over. Only if Chris Sabin makes an appearance. Yeah.

Sabin will probably make some sort of appearance. Scorpio Sky now confirmed this event also. Rubix might be confirmed also I dunno.
Maybe. That's all I'm gonna hope for.

Rubix would be stellar. But, I stand by my point. I hate this only being one night. The tease hurts.

This format feels so off to me though. Maybe it's the taping aspect or something. They'll have these random gimmick events scattered throughout the year with lots of talent that isn't even on the roster and 4 standard live PPVs with the other talent involved. Feels like two completely different companies on paper.

Ha, yeah it kinda does. I like the idea of bringing in a bunch of outside guys for the specialty shows though. I don't know it's kinda cool to have the main storylines run through Impact and the main 4 ppvs. While the specialty shows will pretty much be straight up wrestling with a lot of outside names. The specialty programs feel separate from TNA like a sort of PWG-like extension of the company with shows mostly about tournaments and well...just wrestling rather than storylines and wrestling like Impact and the 4 main ppvs will be.

Re: TNA taping "X-Travaganza" & "Jokers Wild Tag Team Tournament” PPV specials this w

I think the negative I'm looking at here is how it seems as if once these events end, the results that come from it won't matter much. Like they have all of this going on and it's on the backburner when compared next to what goes on TV and the 4 PPVs, well technically 3 since Genesis will be here soon, throughout the year.

From a wrestling standpoint this is fun. From a storyline or "should this stuff matter" kind of perspective, I'm not quite sure yet. I'll have to wait and see what is taped and more importantly what follows these events. Perhaps by April I'll be the guy who says - "wow these are awesome. I can't wait for more b/c they pump out some quality matches."

EDIT - Wouldn't shock me. They're clearly familiar with PWG with Joey Ryan on the roster & Brian Cage's appearance last night.

Also, a lot of the talent have been on PWG shows before (Daniels, Kaz, Aries, ect.). I'm excited to see some guys go for longer matches, especially the X-Division matches. I hope the ECW-esque PPV gets replaced with an actual tournament with maybe the Young Bucks returning.

Re: TNA taping "X-Travaganza" & "Jokers Wild Tag Team Tournament” PPV specials this w

Tomorrow are the tapings for the X Division-themed X-Travaganza PPV and from what I can gather, there are several talents who have traveled to Orlando to be a part of the show. Among those wrestlers are TJ Perkins (aka Puma), Lince Dorado, Jigsaw (aka Rubix), and Scorpio Sky (aka Mason Andrews). We had also reported a few days ago that former TNA stars Petey Williams, Matt Bentley, Amazing Red, Jimmy Rave, and Jerry Lynn are all expected to appear on the show. More to come...

Re: TNA taping "X-Travaganza" & "Jokers Wild Tag Team Tournament” PPV specials this w

I dont get why people are confused. If you have been watching this company. All those other ppvs mean nothing.Just side crap storys or rushing out stories. Feud matches being done to many times on shit ppvs like victoray road. We want Impact wrestling for building these feuds and 4 is perfect to finish or start them in epic big match ups.

These One Night Only events are perfect. They are to add all the other excitement we want.Like x division tournaments. Bringing in talent all over the world is exciting. We will get to see special shows with the 6 sided ring again.

I think a lot of you have not seen the old weekly ppv days of this company. Thats when this kinda stuff happend all the time.It was pretty popular stuff.

12 is for matches so why have 12 a year be about feuds. Its to much. 7 for other amazing wrestling action.Rest for the story telling matches.

Expect it to be in roughly a month from now, probably where Against All Odds would have been.

Don't know if it has been posted, but TJ Perkins is in Orlando.
He already confirmed he is taking part, he also posted a pic with Scorpio Sky getting Ice Cream. Jigsaw is apparently going to be a part according to TNAsylum and Tony Nese posted a pic of the Orlando forecast with a winking smiley. I am more excited for these guys than any of the former TNA XD stars.
