Lockdown is more of a gimmick than Destination X IMO.

I also wonder if they're keeping Genesis just because it was already scheduled. No way it was more prestigious than Destination X was.

But Lockdown focuses on the entire roster and not just the X Division? That was my point.

Again, names really don't matter. Genesis is an okay name. It's more about what they actually do on the PPV.

Lockdown's been their second-highest ppv for a bit so I can see why they kept it. Genesis is clearly only selected this year because they just reached the decision to put the taped shows on ppv because Spike didn't want them and they were already locked into doing it.

Also, you can do several taped X-Division shows without having to figure out what you're doing storyline wise down the road since largely the guys you're going to use are either one-time talent or guys from the past.

Out of the talents available I'd like to see Petey Williams, Sonjay Dutt, Tony Nese, Jigsaw, and TJ Perkins get contracts. Probably the best workers out of the non-contracted talent on the show. Wish Jay Lethal was on the show. :/

This is basically a PWG taping with all of the talent that sounds to be appearing. Wish they could've got Roddy and Jay Lethal though.

What's wrong with Lethal? Roddy has to be one of the most underrated dudes in independent wrestling IMO. Wish TNA would've brought him in when they had the chance.

Problem is Strong has the personality of a turnip so he'd be the type they'd only use once in a while anyway.
