The idea is to create a clean break from the failed Hogan/Bischoff "era". Fresh start while not shitting all over the history of the company.

Yes lets go back to promoting the word TNA which doesn't represent wrestling at all. Something that no main stream people get,The same people we are trying to attract. The same name that business people dont want to associate with.

Lets move away from the solid Impact Wrestling name that acutely makes the company look like a wrestling company.

MattHoover post about who he'd release and hire is definitely the worst post I've ever read on any forum. Just full of completely clueless ideas.

Well, I completely disagree. Not only are many of the major issues addressed in regards to a weak roster, but it also restores much of what longtime TNA fans no longer have, which has resulted in them leaving the product. Hogan/Bischoff have turned Impact into WCW Thunder V.2, just in HD.

One of the biggest problems with TNA is the so-called lack of money to use for advertising in mass markets. Well, if you weren't paying Hogan, Bischoff, Angle, and RVD, amongst all of those others who do nothing for the product, you'd have money to invest back into marketing, creative production talent, and a feeder system to groom future stars.

Lastly, it's simple to write, "Your idea is teh stupidest idea I've ever read ever," but if you disagree with something, your point won't be taken seriously unless you take the time to explain why you disagree. Troll.

Obviously, from the length and thought put into the post, I'm not clueless. I've been a wrestling fan for 25 years and there hasn't been much of TNA that I've missed since the very first weekly PPV.

First off all, This is just my opinion on what i think should happen. Also i know technically Impact wrestling is the tv show name. Doesn't mean its not something they are still planning. Why else would we have the website be called it and house shows and world tours. Plus the outside world and business world is all ready referring the company to Impact wrestling. Just saying i think its something they are planning on phasing into. Since they spent years building TNA when they are still not even that big in the main stream.

To me this is the best way to build the company. It needs a proper wrestling identity the main stream world can take seriously. Impact Wrestling is a very good wrestling company name. Its short but meaningful and bold. The fact that they promote almost everything as IW makes me think over time they will change the name. Website is called it the world tours the house shows the impact wrestling roster.

Would you rather be a

TNA Total Non-Stop Action – World Champion

Or

Impact Wrestling – World Champion

6 ppvs is around the right number. Its a dying concept and people dont want to invest big money as often every month.

Remember when wrestling had special shows on saturdays like saturday main event. Or even when wwe had its in your house half price conecpt. Every event had a different sub theme name to the show and it was a great idea. Take that idea but make it free on tv with 6 events a year. Have big build ups to ppvs.

They will make more money this way.

Company name - Impact Wrestling

Events

Impact Wrestling's 2 hour Thursday night Reaction.

Impact Wrestling's 1 hour weekly – Cross the line

6 ppvs a year

Not in order

BFG
Slammiversary
Lockdown
Genesis
Destination x
New ppv name

6 Saturday night 2 hour live themed tv specials a year. Each event is themed in a different manner.

Just going to toss around silly bad names as examples

Impact wrestling's – Terror night halloween themed event.

Impact wrestling's – Rumble fest

Impact wrestling's – Whole F'n Show

Impact Wrestling's – Blank

Impact wrestling's – Blank

Impact wrestling's – Blank

Belts
Impact Wrestling - World TV championship

Impact wrestling – X Division Championship

Impact Wrestling's – Women Championship

Impact Wrestling's - World Tag team Championship

Impact wrestling's - World Championship

Shocked at people wanting to fire:
1. OVW workers
2. Big names that give the company attention

Personally, only thing I would change is the look of the Impact Zone, cut back to 8 pay-per-views, and hire some more writers to help out. Keep the roster how it is but with some boosts in tag teams and X-Division.
Stay as TNA. No need nor rush to change the name. Or at least not yet.
And fire anyone that tries to say going back to 6 sides would benefit the company in some non-existant way.

I think they should also look more to their future and attaining some great talents. Now I don't know if they refused to come to TNA, but look at Antonio Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan and Dean Ambrose. These guys are setting the WWE a light right now, but 5 years ago they were all showing just how good they were in ROH. Why didn't TNA sign these guys? They had Austin Aries 5 years ago an obviously didn't realize what they had then. They never gave Alex Shelley, someone as good as Aries an opportunity and he finally left. But now they are signing guys like Sam Shaw... Like I said maybe they didn't want to work for TNA but, a few years ago they came calling with big money contracts maybe right now These guys I have mentioned could have had some classic matches with guys like Styles, Joe and Angle (just like Desmond Wolfe) and getting TNA crowds to chant "Yes" and making it big time.

None of Claudio, Black, Danielson, or Moxley wanted to sign with TNA. Maybe TNA could've nabbed them in the early days when they snagged Joe but who knows. I'm sure guys like Adam Cole aren't even interested in joining TNA especially with the pay-per-appearance deals. If anything, TNA needs to go after some guys that could make a lesser Impact but are seasoned like Brian Cage at this point.

Yeah like I said those guys probably had their sights set on WWE, but TNA had CM Punk, they got rid of Aries before rehiring him back, now he is a world champion and they never gave Shelley a chance in ten years. Instead they kept signing over the hill acts that kept putting glass ceilings over deserving talent. Daniels should be maybe a 2-3 time WHC by now if management had any sense. They are only really just now realizing what they have had (and released) for a decade now, although probably still won't give him a title feud, even if it could be a good filler for Hardy between now and Lockdown. So many missed opportunities. At least Joe has one title reign und his belt. But TNA just keep making the same mistakes i.e. Devon, a guy that never drew a dime as a singles competitor and is close to 50 in their top storyline.

Guys like Magnus are so marketable and talented, they should be leading the way not being put on the sideline. TNA are doing better, but they still need to improve and focus on turning their wrestlers into true superstars.

I think that's the reason a lot of those wrestlers don't want to join TNA. Once in a while, you get a guy who gets a chance to succeed like Aries but most times the marketable stars get stuck off of TV or released like Desmond Wolfe or Petey Williams. I think the only reason Alex Shelley left was to finish college and compete in NJPW. He's stated many times that that was his dream. He can still come back whenever he wants to and I would welcome it. I wish Dixie would put out the money necessary for Desmond to get motivated and come back as well as Petey Williams. I like what they're doing with Daniels and Kazarian, I'm hoping they have something planned for Magnus if he returns during the UK shows!
