His match against Bully Ray was the second best of the night (and Daniels/Styles wrestled so it doesn't count), and he gains so much hate from these fans. His athletic ability and strength are amazing for a person of his size, and he is one of the best promo workers in wrestling. His character is this talented, cocky, douchey, attention whore heel, and I feel like CM Punk is really a poor man's Austin Aries, who is considered better because he is in the WWE. Aries became my new favorite tonight, the only issue with his match was that the Hogans showed up.

Agreed so much. Punk is limited with his position but Aries is the real deal.

Yet again being compared to punk.That is insult. That guy has no diversity to his personality.

Anyways Austin is pretty much the total package of a classic pure Wrestler. Hes got that true wrestling edge. Amazing technical wrestler with a classic man look. Great talker and i think hes going to keep us interested for a long time. Roode is amazing but i think Austin really has some special skills with talking

I like him, but I'm not sure about that just yet. However, when Bully is done with this tweener fuckery, there's no doubt that TNA have an absolute star-studded top 3 heel lineup of Roode/Aries/Bully.

I don't even like Punk but, he's FAR SUPERIOR heel character than Aries.

Austin Aries has certainly won me over he's got the total package but I still prefer CM Punk and Bobby Roode.

i think Punk is a better heel aswell but through previous roles such as nexus, straight edge society. But right now i'd say aries is the better heel, you want proof just look at the WWE forums people saying his stale, boring, too much of a coward etc.
