So sting was famous for dropping from the rafters, they tease earlier that the bat was stolen then it falls from the rafters. The cage is locked from the outside but has a big hole in the top........then he just casually walks to the ring. only in TNA folks!

Seriously what the hell was TNA thinking? Im one of Stings biggest fans but last night was just terrible.. It just seems like TNA just doesnt give a shit about its viewers when they hype up something like Stings return then completely have no creativity when the return actually happens.

Im very unhappy with the state of TNA right now.

Some people are getting too carried away though, Impact is still the show to watch, it just needs an injection of creativity.

One of the worse returns of all time. It was laughable seeing Sting beat up 7 guys with a bat.

As I said before, big Sting fan. But watching this over, and over, and over, and over again since 1997 is a bit insulting. This is why I liked the Joker-gimmick. It was something just, different. Nothing will ever be everybody's cup of tea, noone will always like everything, but I felt Sting was enjoying doing something different. Now, it's back to returning every 3 weeks, come in with the baseball bat, and clear house. It was fucking incredible in 1997, but doing it for 16 years, it's kind of like "LOL." And to think seeing him drop from the rafters, as REDUNDANT as that is too, would of been all like "that was cool." Instead, we get his 1 millionth come to the ring, beat everyone with the bat, and leave routine.

Now what? Can't wait to see THAT again. Never seen it before. Creative's way of being burned out as it gets. It almost makes you think "What could Vince do with a FULL Sting angle without budget worry?"

My first thought as this played out: why did they book so many aces & eights to be there if Sting is going to overpower everyone himself. I know this isn't the first time they've done something like this but please... just a little believability.

Not only was there 7 of them but only 3 were fighting/on the ground while the rest seemed to be lining up behind eachother to get hit in the face.

His return was a bit awkward yeah and could have been handled better (way better) but nonetheless his return and the unmasking of Mike Knox should bring out new story line opportunities in the coming weeks for TNA.....hopefully lol
