Re: X division could do with a revamp
The X division is the reason I started watching back in 2003. I agree with you OP. TNA needs to go back to making the X Division the main attraction of the company.

Re: X division could do with a revamp
The talent they have now are either jobbers or just plain average.
The x division is dead and we have to accept it, there is no saving it.

Re: X division could do with a revamp
Well first they'd actually have to focus on the X-Division more then a month or two to improve it but they're not going to. Between the guys they brought in for matches before Destination X and the guys they signed they have enough talent to make a credible division. They just don't put the effort into actually doing it while figuring out how to cram all the other stuff they want to get in into Impact.

Re: X division could do with a revamp
Kazarian
Daniels
AJ Styles
RVD (even though I feel he is washed up)
Joe
Are all in the mid card, and could build a decent X-Division
TNA is literally going against everything they attempt to stand for.
"While we don't cut guys open, we are a relatively extreme program that gets crazy."
X DIVISION NOT EXISISTENT, ULTIMATE X MATCH NEVER HAPPENS
"We focus on a wrestling program, and the wrestling itself, rather than pure entertainment like WWE."
MAIN EVENTS LAST 8 MINUTES MAX AND THE WORLD CHAMPION CAN'T WRESTLE.
Also, is D' Angelo Dinero still with TNA?

Key isn't international talent. Lets focus on the guys they have first then decide to branch out for any neat "dream" match type scenarios with talent from various countries.
Pro Wrestling NOAH dying might be the only excuse for them to nab up some workers.

Re: X division could do with a revamp
It'll get its annual revamp around destination x time and then fade away just in time for the next one, if the last two years are anything to go off.
I miss Tony Nese. idk why, he wasn't anything special but I liked his best of 3 thing with Zema and then it felt like he did nothing afterwards. Instead they focused on Jesse Sorensen for whatever reason.

why would the talent want to come in when the booking has been so bad? Aries is like the only guy who's benefitted from the X Division in recent memory. They've done barely anything with the talent they've brought in over the last couple years.

Re: X division could do with a revamp
i would love tna to get guys like tj perkins, el generico in from roh, jack evans, aero star, teddy hart from aaa, prince devitt in from japan and then guys like kazarian, joey ryan, douglas williams all in the x division already. I think that would be a pretty exciting division.
I think the plan for the x division however is going to be that aj keeps losing, goes away for a little while and then comes back in the x division to get his confidence back, wins the title, doesnt cash it in at destination x because he cant compete for the world title until bfg. He will then go in the bound for glory series and hopefully win that and compete with aa for the world and x division title at bfg. Would be epic in my opinion.

Re: X division could do with a revamp
The x division is a mess. I'm sorry to be that blunt, but this was the stuff I came around to watching TNA for in the beginning. What they've decided to concentrate on recently has pushed what I like into the background. Now, I'm not saying they've necessarily made bad decisions – folks pretty much across the board here have been praising Impact for rediscovering coherent watch-ability – but they've decided to neglect my precious x division and that makes me sad.
It could be fixed with a little love and attention (So could the knockouts division, but that's another topic altogether...). There's no need, right now, to bring in international talent. There's nothing to bring them to. Assign the proper, already-on-the-roster talents to the x division and keep them there without making it seem like a demotion – that would be a good start. And yes, I know RVD has name recognition, and I can see that he's woken up a bit since they put him in the title-holder role, but please remove him and put someone with a faster, more exciting style in his place. Get matches with the right kind of moves to showcase what the division is all about on Impact more often. Then start hiring guys who are available, flexible about when they'll work and who have experience with x division talent and techniques.

Aries and Zema Ion got over, because unlike tony nese and others alike they had a interesting persona. There isn't enough booking in the world to make nese look like a star (shit storm incoming) at least sorensen now has the underdog type story to help him out.
TNA needs more x division talent, interesting talent not guys that can do flips in the air.
Talent wants to come in no matter what the booking is, I know people like to pretend TNA is a indy company but it gives whoever comes in exposure. But sadly I think nobody inside TNA sees potential in AAA or NOAH talent.

wait, how do you know Eric is behind that, he is friends with Kevin Nash
