Re: Is Hulk Hogan helping or hurting TNA?
Guys like RVD, Hogan, Jeff Hardy, have names that have put TNA on the map, however, they have been horrible in TNA. Also Kennedy, but he is kind of a nobody compared to those 3.
Hardy, RVD, and Hogan have been terrible throughout their stay in TNA. They have hurt the product, but they are all big draws. With that said, I don't think it's going to get anywhere with Hulk Hogan and Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam, while it may have gotten somewhere if they continued with their
Sting and Kurt Angle are both 2 huge draws; one of WCW's biggest stars, and the only olympic gold medalist in pro wrestling (also was a pretty big deal in WWE), but they have been amazing during their times in TNA.
Came for the Hogan, Sting, Angle, Hardy etc.
Stayed for the Daniels, Styles, Roode, Storm, other new(to me) guys I grew to like."
I feel that this can be true, but I think they've spent too much time on Hogan and Hardy who suck, HARDY IS THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION AS A BABYFACE WHO CAN NOT EVEN CUT A PROMO. Hogan is the authority figure of the show, and he seems so awkward and cheesy in every promo; this isn't the 70's anymore, people want more than what Hogan can give.
I wish I enjoyed this current TNA; I really do. But, it sucks, and it will continue to suck until they realize that all that Hulk Hogan and Jeff Hardy are simply draws who do nothing but be the guy who beat the Iron Sheik to win the WWF championship a really long time ago, and be the guy who jumped off ladders through tables for ten years in WWE.
That is literally all that these guys are anymore. So, to summarize, Hulk Hogan is ruining TNA.
