Default Christian York a main eventer?

After his two impressive performances on IMPACT, I won't be shocked if he is in the main event picture within a few months.

I would be.

I like what they're doing with him and he's certainly a solid talent in the ring but he doesn't do enough on the mic for me. I think he'd make a tremendous workhorse though, hell put him in the DEVON mould of a tv champ who takes on all comers. Or the X Division. He's a solid body to put in the mid card and maybe down the line but the main event lineup seems pretty solid for now. I can't say I'd want to see him over guys like Aries, Ray, Storm, Roode or even Daniels/Joe. Maybe Hardy but he's in the ME for other reasons and I can understand why they want to keep him there. The guy has only just arrived, let him continue to impress for a decent period of time before just throwing him in the main event. Building guys up makes the payoff all the better.

I think he is getting some air time just to show people who he is and what he can do i'd say he will be off tv after this month or at least in the X Division picture but not main event.

Way too soon to label York mic skills as bad, he's still trying to adapt to TNA and it will take a few months until he's fully comfortable on the pipebomb.

Maybe in a couple years, he's 35 but really that's not that old just yet he could go as long as his body holds up.

Not convinced yet that York is a main eventer. I think what you have is a very good talent. I can see him fitting in nicely in the TV Title and Tag Team scene. Does he make the "weight limit" for the X-Division not sure. But, what I see in York is a solid upper mid-card babyface right now who can moonlight in and out of he main event scene a person in WWE I'd compare the "spot" I see him in would be where Kofi Kingston has been during his time in WWE. He gets in some multiman main events he's been in both mid-card title scenes and in tag teams as needed.

York has that good look though honestly the muscle he put on might've slowed him down slightly, but wow is this guy something for just arriving huh? Hes average on mic so far. I can see him being a guy that doesn't speak much, but when he does its impactful. Might be too early to throw him into the main event but I can see that they want to and have been testing the waters in a way. Now that hes been in the spotlight, he can work up the ladder and when he gets to the top it'll be more easy to squeeze him in there

No, no way. I mean, he's a good talent, good wrestler, but he just tries too hard on the mic, he's not natural at all, he can't carry his share in a big main event feud.

He seems like the guy they want to be a huge star for next year. He might win the X-title and beat the champ at destination X.
