Also, I'm not sure if Magnus would be better as a heel or a face. To be honest, even though he is clearly not a tweener, Magnus' gimmick wouldn't change much either way. If you say his gimmick is essentially that he's an athletic power-merchant who is meticulous in his match preparation and is also a confident ladies' man, Magnus as a face would essentially be the same as he is as a heel, except he would drop some of the obvious heel actions like back-raking and attacking people with wrenches. His actual character and mic-work would pretty much be the same, though - I don't think it would be a drastic change.

I suppose TNA is a bit short of faces at the moment so a face turn could be a good idea. Also, if they do plan to make him TV champ in London, then a face turn would make it a lot easier to cut an "England and St George"-style promo like he did last year, which seemed to go down well with the UK crowd.

Magnus is god awful in the ring, i hope he trains a shitload during this kayfabe injury, he has awful timing, his move set is basic and he can't sell for shit.
