I'm talking about the ones after a backstage segment involving Jeff, where you can "hear" his thoughts lol.... like this Thursday when it shows him thinking "Austin Aries, you came into my world without the world title, and you left my world without the world title". I like TNA's camera work with these backstage segements but any time I see this, I start laughing my ass off. They look incredibly stupid, I get it that Jeff doesn't have much as far as mic skills go, but this isn't going to help.
On a side note, I'm really hoping Roode gets the title back, Hardy is more over, but they really need a champ that has skills on the mic.
Re: Anyone else hate those weird Jeff Hardy promo's
The inner monologues are weirdly growing on me. Initially I hated it, thinking it had no place whatsoever in wrestling - which I'm sure a lot of people still do think - but I realise times are indeed changing and I commend TNA for trying out something new. Let's just hope they don't push the boat out too far with it leading to the craziness of 2010.
To the sidenote, as much as I'm a Roode mark, I can't see Hardy dropping the belt in the very near future.

I want to hear his real thoughts instead of some arty BS. He was, after all, getting his back rubbed by some sort of overweight blonde woman. "Mmmmm, they really do put more in to it when they've got a bit more weight."

I wasnt sure what I thought of it at first either. But then I tried to remember that wrestling nowadays is targeted towards kids. And if I were a kid, I would probably think something like this is cool. Logical? Maybe not. But its a tv show, and it happens in other tv shows. I think of it in terms of an Ultimate Warrior promo. When I was a kid, i thought the warrior promos were awesome. But the adults thought they were incoherent and stupid. didnt make sense. Today, adults may think its dumb, but kids might dig it. Im still not sold on it, but for some reason I am okay with it. I think
