I think the inner monologues are ridiculous, but at least they are trying out new things. Everything in wrestling has already been done a dozen times, its almost impossible to come up with something original. So it's good that they are trying. But of everything original idea they try out, probably 9 out of 10 ideas will suck, but its the 10th try that makes it worth it. And i dont really think these inner monologues distract from the TNA product itself. It's just a little stupid thing inbetween the matches, and its kinda plausible for someone like Jeff Hardy to do it ;-)

They are beyond awful and make 0 sense. I like to suspend my disbelief somewhat when I watch and these promos just rip me right out of the show. They CAN'T happen in real life so it just ruins it for me.

I can't believe how many people are saying it's good because it's original. Some things are original because no dickhead decided to think of doing it beforehand BECAUSE IT'S A BAD IDEA.

Jeffs always been a unique character and this fits him. Its actually a pretty cool thing

I swear to god, they NEED to do this sometime. Have Jeff Hardy talk in inner monologue, Eric young walks by and says "hey Jeff" in his head "hey Eric" (double take towards Eric walking away, Jeffs face shocked like wtf)

Honestly, I get a chuckle out of it because of sheer ridiculousness but I don't think it really helps the show. I think it's best for wrestling to stick with what's actually possible – no matter how convoluted an explanation is needed – rather than just scream FAKE.
