Re: Possibly storyline with AJ turning heel
TNA has good taste in tag teams but bad taste in factions. Immortal was destroying TNA in 2011, Aces & Eights are destroying TNA now.
Fortune as a face stable could be: (v1)
-AJ Styles
-Daniels turning face
-Kazarian turning face
-Storm
vs
Another stable with a generic name
-Roode, as opposed to Storm
-Matt Morgan, as someone who wants to make and Impact
-Joey Ryan, who's with Morgan
-Kid Kash, Magnus, or another heel
Fortune as a face stable could be: (v2)
-AJ Styles
-James Storm
-Douglas Williams, to make use of him
-Another great face like RVD
vs
Another stable with a generic name
-Matt Morgan
-Joey Ryan, as opposed to RVD
-Daniels
-Kazarian
Fortune as a heel stable could be:
-AJ turning heel
-Daniels
-Kazarian
-Roode
vs
Another stable with a generic name:
-Storm
-Douglas Williams
-And two great faces like Kurt Angle, Bully Ray, RVD, Aries turning, even Hardy....

Re: Possibly storyline with AJ turning heel
Their clearly gonna go with AJ on a losing streak before building him back up to the title. Nothin would sink him faster than a clean loss to his archenemy on PPV.
My guess is he does feud with RVD for the x title as the loophole to get the shot at Destination x next year.

Re: Possibly storyline with AJ turning heel
I dont see him really turning heel. They just went through the whole Claire Lynch botchamania to see how virtuous AJ is, and how sleazy WTTotW are. Honestly, I don't think it matters if he is face or heel, AJ is still probably the best known "TNA guy" and he will still get cheered, not to say he couldnt get the heat, people want to cheer AJ Styles. He is a "high flying heavyweight" which means that he would have to change to a more technical approach in the ring and abandon his current (and in my opinion his most effective) in ring style.
If he does turn, that means we will have a ton of upper level heels, in addition to Aces and Eights... that seems like there isn't enough to go around, but AJ vs Storm and AJ forming a stable with someone like Matt Morgan and Joey Ryan would be fun. A heel turn would have potential at another time, but as of right now, TNA has too many guys on that side.

Re: Possibly storyline with AJ turning heel
AJ Styles has always been a much better and utilized face. He was slightly a better heel than usual when he was with Ric Flair, but then that fell by the waist. At the very least, AJ got better on the mic by being with Flair. Other than that, given his size and history in TNA, AJ is best as a face.

Re: Possibly storyline with AJ turning heel
Not a chance to the OP.
I'm thinking AJ loses to Daniels at FR, comes back in early 2013 with a totally new gimmick and moves on to either X Division or feuds with Storm.

Re: Possibly storyline with AJ turning heel
I definately don't see Styles turning heel. I see him fueding with Daniels, facing him at Final Resolution, and losing. Styles then takes a bit of time off, and returns more focused than ever in early 2013.
Eventually, this leads to him winning the World Title back at Bound For Glory next year. That's where I see TNA going with Styles.

Re: Possibly storyline with AJ turning heel
For TNA to acknowledge Daniels losing record I think CD is going to beat AJ and then feud with hardy.

Re: Possibly storyline with AJ turning heel
Holy shit if Daniels beats Styles in their final battle, it'd mean so much to Daniels' credibility. And then, to move on to the WHC picture, it's be just perfect.

I think TNA sees CD as: "Forever mid-card championship contender" but it would be great to see him against Hardy.
