Yeah, Lockdown was far and away the most disappointing PPV from TNA this year. None of the matches, expect for Roode vs Storm, were worth anything and that god damn crowd. It was like they were working in front of an empty area. Flat out silence. Until a SPOT occurred.

it was a bad decision putting the ppv at james storms home crowd and not having him win that night, would of got a massive pop

Too bad they were dead the entire show so that crushes the theory of blaming it on the booking.

If crowd matters that much than ECW was the best company ever with best PPVs and bets matches, and ROH sucks ass just because they get around 100 people per show. Crowd shouldn't be a big factor. Matches were okay and that is the most important thing. I wasn't bored like on PPVs before Lockdown.

Bad matches with a bad crowd = bad show. That isn't a formula that's hard to grasp.

where did the random, and inaccurate, ROH comment come into play here?

Haven't watched ROH in a long time but last time I checked it had less crowd than TNA but good wrestling. Lockdown had good wrestling, and bad crowd. ECW had the best crowd but wrestling was far from the best. Otherwise it would have survived.

Re: Best TNA PPV so far?

I don't get why comparing ROH's poor crowds makes Lockdowns garbage crowd any better? (i havent watched roh regularly in ages). Besides TNA made a big deal about going to nashville and it totally FLOPPED. The crowd there should've been like what Slammiversary or even BFG was. The fact so many people claim Slammiversary's crowd is a huge reason behind it being so good says it all about what a good crowd can add.

And besides the main event, I'm struggling to see all the good wrestling that occured at Lockdown. Definition of a below average ppv.

The fact is that crowd doesn't matter. Lockdown was a decent PPV. It just had a bad crowd. Every Lockdown has a bad crowd.

(In my opinion, none of this years' PPVs sucked)

So because every lockdown has a bad crowd, that means it should never matter? Surely it means tna should pick better places or do a better job, lockdown is one of their signature ppvs after all

So does the amazing crowd at slammiversary not affect that ppv? What about the incredibly average impact zone crowd everyone is tired of?
