Extreme Rules 2012 was better than anything TNA has done this year in my opinion but lets not go down that road because it's going to lead to bitching and mark wars which I'm not up for.

The cage was awful at Lockdown this year because the ring was different (i think it was the house show ring which was smaller and you could really see that in the lethal lockdown). That + dead crowd. What good matchups were there, besides guns/joegnus and the main event, both of which were okay. Lockdown as a whole was a HUGE letdown, matches didnt deliver and neither did the crowd. Which is a shame since the Roode/Storm build prior to it was the best thing they've done this year feud wise.

The BFG series matches at HJ were just there. 3 way was terrible (it had anderson and rvd after all) and the table match was really lacklustre. Ladder match was okay but nothing outstanding. All 4 guys have had better this year. I'm a fan of the main event though (Roode/Aries have a+ chemistry). Oh plus it has chavo/hernandez vs kash/gunner which is like the worst opener i can recall this year easily.

Sacrifice had Kaz/Daniels vs Joe/Magnus which I'd say is better than those two vs AJ/Angle, then Kim/Tessmacher which wipes the floor w/ every other KO match this year, Ray/Aries which is was MOTN, Angle/Styles which was good and then even RVD/Roode wasn't awful (bar RVD slightly cocking up towards the end)

Funny how opinions differ. All three of these PPVs have one vote and one comment proving it was the best. I don't wanna argue so let's just rate all of these with the same grade.

BTW, WWE ER 2012 might have had Brock vs Cena, but BFG 2012 had Roode vs Storm. Put a WWE stamp on that match and you would like it more.

I think calling me of all people a WWE mark is amusing but hey whatever makes you feel better. Roode/Storm was good, I'm not questioning that. Cena/Lesnar was a spectacle which rarely comes about and something amazing. Sheamus/Bryan is also better than Roode/Storm imo. Punk/Jericho not so much but those three on the card + a solid undercard trumps TNA's best effort. TNA's been far more consistent with good PPVs and weekly shows this year though. That's all I'll say on that.

Since it's starting to get obvious that Slammiversary, Destination X, and Bound For Glory were the best 3 PPVs of the year, I might consider doing a poll narrowed down just to them. Sure that Slammiversary leads by far, but if you add together the other choices' votes, the other side wins by far. Sure this doesn't mean shit to you, but it does to me because I'm fucking obsessed with polls.

I thought the best PPV of 2012 was by far Final Resolution.

Slammiversary, easily. I can't think of any weak points - it was just great from top to bottom and while I don't remember specifics, I remember thinking there were 2, maybe even 3, MOTY contenders there.

Lockdown was also great in itself, but was let down by a poor crowd. While BFG was good, after TNA's current run I was expecting more and was a little let down. This wasn't helped by the fact that the Impact leading into BFG was absolutely fantastic.

I seem to remember DX was a PPV of two halves. The first half was okay, but nothing special. The second half was excellent. But I do remember the contenders matches in the first half starting to get a bit samey after a while.

i dont understand why people say cena/lesnar was a good match, the whole match has about 80% dominated by brock lesner, and it consisted of mainly strikes and submissions, i cant even remember brock doing many wrestling moves, it was just him beating cena down time after time for like nearly 17-18 minutes, after that cena hit him with a chain and then his finisher, it was poorly booked with lesnar losing steam, i aint hating on wwe but its the truth this match was boring even the triple h/lesner one was better.
