Re: Zema Ion: Opinions?

Speaking as someone who's taken a long time to warm to the guy, I'll say he's fine enough considering that, taking age into account, he still has time to develop and his peak years are ahead of him. I don't even mind his ring gear, however...

...the hair spray gimmick thing that he's doing, that is wretchedly bad and I wish he'd stop it. It's not even “oh, he's annoying, so it works” bad, it's not funny bad, it's stupid bad. Surely he/they/random person on the street/a pet hamster/anyone can come up with a better vain heel heat generator for him than that.

Re: Zema Ion: Opinions?

the only thing I don't like involving him is the booking. They put him over quite a few guys I personally feel he shouldn't have gone over on. Bringing him in and putting the xdiv belt on him like that alone to me was a mistake. I hate WWE for their quickness to shove someone through the ranks only to completely stop when they aren't being cheered/jeered with choruses because they've pushed them to fast. Then the guys flounder for a while and disappear.. see Carlito for example. Somehow in TNA they've looked at WWE's model and said, they don't push people nearly fast enough! It's aggravating to watch.

Re: Zema Ion: Opinions?

I agree. His gimmick, much like with Eric Young spoils any talent and charisma he has in the ring

Re: Zema Ion: Opinions?

Should still be champ. Everytime TNA says jump, he's said how high. His gimmick is young, it will not improve without focus and whatnot. The problem is rarely with the talent.

WWE is filled with 'Good Ol' Boys' in power positions. It is just how it is, and I will keep calling WWE, Pro Wrestling in USA, as well as some of it's fans out on this because it is bollox. I do notice an apparent effort being made to mitigate this somewhat, but time will ultimately tell.

Re: Zema Ion: Opinions?

Oddly enough "Sergio" fits him quite nicely. Hope his gimmicks has a couple of adjustments though.

Marks: CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan
