- Scott Steiner has filed a lawsuit against TNA alleging that he was injured because the company allowed Jeff Hardy to wrestle while drunk and possibly high. The lawsuit claims that Steiner suffered nerve damage in his shoulder because of Jeff's "reckless, drunken wrestling" during a match win which Steiner and Bully Ray wrestled Hardy and RVD on a November 3rd, 2011 house show. The suit also alleges that Hulk Hogan was in charge and made the decision to allow Jeff to work, and was responsible for "writing and approving the script for the match."

Hogan was not booked on the card. Steiner is seeking $750,000 in damages, including the loss of consortium for his wife.

It was a house show.

If the case makes it to court people have to testify under oath. I'm sure there are plenty of people who know what goes on backstage. But i dont think it will make it to court, it will probably be settled. If TNA doesnt settle and let this case go to court this could be very bad publicity for them, because the media will probably pick this up since Hogan is mentioned. Probably Steiner's sole reason to start this case is to "force" TNA to settle.

Further detail from Jason Powell:

Quote:
The match in question took pace on November 3, 2011. Hardy teamed with Rob Van Dam in a match against Steiner and Bully Ray in the main event of the show. Steiner is alleging that Hulk Hogan was in charge of Hardy's action along with "writing and approving the script for the match." However, it was a live event and Hogan was not booked on the card, so I doubt he had much to do with it. Steiner previously filed a countersuit against TNA after the company filed a lawsuit against him following his Twitter tirades about Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Dixie Carter, and others.
