Storm having the title for such a short reign had absolutely NOTHING to do with TNA thinking him not ready -- it was a ploy to build heat for Roode's reign...

Another short reign was Sting having a 2-day reign in 2007. In kayfabe it was 11 days due to the taping schedule, either way it's pretty short.

I remember Rhino's sad excuse for a reign in 2005. He deserved so much better.. Fucking Jeff Jarrett.

Rhino wasn't even supposed to be in a title match. Nash got hurt and they hotshot the title on Rhino so they could end their biggest show with a feel good moment.

Of course they had him drop the title back at the next tapings AND I remember they spoiled the result of their own fucking title match by airing a commercial for the next PPV that told us Jarrett would be champ going in.

Not the shortest, but saddest title run, for me is Ravens. No one was more important to TNAs early time while getting so little important wins in return.

When they finally - and far too late - gave him the title, they didn't even give Raven ONE high profile feud or match. They kept him in the mid card, and then let the title change back to Jarrett in an off air match.

No excuse.

Rhinos title win went over with the fans, which shows that you at least give him a chance to be a successful champion.

It's rather an addition sign for TNAs incompetence, that they wanted to give the title to Nash in the first place. Instead of a regular appearing guy in excellent ring shape.

It's not Rhino. Rhino held the NWA championship. It's technically the same if you wanna count it as the TNA title, but they have different championship lines. Angle was the first TNA World Champ I believe.
