I honestly don't care about Eric Young. Never really found him funny.

seems a very cool guy, hard worker and always a good jobber. Good luck for his future.

When was the last time we saw a really good match with EY? 2005?

Yeah, bye.

Re: Eric Young leaving TNA ?

This is unfortunate. I think Eric Young is super talented and can be utilized in a few different ways. He reminds me of Santino, but a lot better.

EY has been doing his comedy act way before santino's shit.
Honestly, I hope this is a work and he ends up involved with aces/eight.

The reason why we don't get fresh ideas and promotions rising in American Pro Wrestling is because the majority of the community is happy with the same old shit and will reject any chance of change. There is a risk in doing new things, 9 times out of 10, it leads to 50+ pages of bitching and moaning. While business gets turned into a dictatorship and more and more out of touch. Support the indies, support New Pro Wrestling.

Re: Eric Young leaving TNA ?

So it was too far fetched to hope for a ODB/EY vs Tara/Jesse match (winning woman gets all the gold) at Final Resolution?

Re: Eric Young leaving TNA ?

A comedy gimmick is always the kiss of death for wrestlers wanting to go anywhere with their careers. Sad.

He worked a fun match with Kaz on Xplosion a few weeks back

Whenever they allowed him to work seriously, he proves that he can go in the ring and deliver good to great matches. Even in a comedy role though he has shown he is a good in ring worker.

Same or at least working us with the intent for him to work another angle or story.

Seemed like logical booking and where they were headed although would prefer to see him vs Magnus this week on Impact. Magnus should push him off the top rope to the outside where he can do the same bump that turned him into a comedy character, have Magnus continue a beatdown (what a concept...putting heat on a heel) until Joe runs out for the save at which point Magnus hightails it.

Magnus wins the TV title at TP, then at BFG in a final showdown between Joe and Magnus, "serious" Eric returns helping Magnus retain then attacks Joe post match and kick starting a feud with him and Joe.
