Open Fight Night...Gut Check...Championship Thursday...

It's crap. They don't need these kind of gimmick shows to make Impact interesting. Gut check already got boring and they can have a championship match or have someone calling out a wrestler without having such stupid concepts. I'm already tired of all these stupid gimmick shows. These kind of stupid concepts just makes me believe that they don't have any creativity at all.

I like Open Fight night. It gives a bit of a breather to ongoing storylines, gets guys against each other who maybe don't have a reason to fight and it can be used to trigger new feuds. It integrated into the BFG series quite nicely, too, rather than clashing.

I agree about Gut Check, though. Waste of valuable TV time.

I'm not quite sure I know what the idea is behind Championship Thursday - is it just that there's a guaranteed title match? If so, sounds like a decent idea to me.

What storylines?

Gut Check and stuff was Hogan's "big idea", wasn't it? He should stay true to his promise and leave. Just ensure to take Prichard, EZE, Garett and Brooke with you!

Tony316 glorious heel turn, devon ain't got shit on him.

The concepts are good, it's all about how they use them.
TNA and every wrestling promotion out there should be trying to innovate their product with new fresh concepts like OFN/ChampionshipThursday/BFGSeries/GutCheck/etc...

It's boring because it's predictable just like WWE's PPV line up. Things should run organically, if two guys are feuding and Open Fight night comes up, the feud then looks forced. It's the same with saying things like TV title be defended each and every week, why corner yourself like that?

As for gutcheck, I was looking for mark out moments and ways to bring in top indy stars, but instead we're getting below average wrestlers who are 2-5 years from being tv ready. Just put them in developmental and don't waste tv time.

Gut Check is def a waste of time, Championship Thursday is just a cheap spike at ratings for lazy booking. OFN makes everything interesting however, it gives us an entry to new storylines and keeps the product fresh and guarantees we don't get the same shit every show like the other company.

I find gut check entertaining. I just think 2 weeks on it is too much. If they made their decisions right after the gut check match I would be a lot more into it.
