I think one of the most under appreciated things about T.N.A. to it's roster is that they don't go on the road that much. That their employees can have somewhat of a steady home life compared to the constant road travel of the W.W.E. I see this as a major reason why stars like Kurt Angle and Jeff Hardy came to T.N.A. in the first place. I think by going on the road, T.N.A. will lose their only advantage they have on the W.W.E. when it comes to signing talent.

It'd be cool if they redesigned the Impact Zone a little bit from time to time. Maybe change the stage and ditch the ramp, something along those lines. I'd be game for them using a smaller stage like ECW used to do around 2007.

If they don't go on the road, they fail to make the most of having that talent in the first place. Surely you don't have to have the big names wrestle five star matches every week or even be at every event but you can't get any credibility if you don't step outside your own back yard surely?

Problem is, when they do, they only draw 3,000-4,000, and that doesn't cover the expenses of an on-the-road show.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. WCW Saturday night ran before WCW started doing Nitro, and WCW Saturday Night was in its own arena, much like the iMPACT Zone. I'd love for TNA to have a second show that is on the road and to still do weekly shows in the iMPACT Zone. TNA could have the weekly show in the iMPACT Zone on Saturday nights, even, and have their weekly road show on live, on Thursday nights.

Sure, feature talent in main storylines wouldn't be regulars on the Saturday night show due to the inability to physically be in two places at the same time. However, this would be an opportunity for TNA to feature its main talent and main storylines at house shows while doing live tapings on the road with the same talent on Thursday nights.

For example, the main show would tape in major cities and the talent featured on the main show would do house shows in smaller venues between major cities.

I'd love to see this. The way I see it, if TNA can land a Sunday night timeslot on Spike for the Countdown to Bound for Glory, then I see no reason why TNA couldn't land a regular additional hour-long timeslot on Saturday or Sunday nights for shows taped in the iMPACT Zone. I'd watch both.

The difference is that Turner was still willing to spend on WCW, but Panda Energy aren't. WCW lost Turner millions of dollars in the early 90's, but he still continued to fund them. But as soon as TNA start doing excessive spending without getting the required returns, you can be sure that Janice Carter will come cracking a whip on TNA. Also, WCW still had a history then, they drew well during the Jim Crockett Promotions days and they still had wrestlers who were big draws. Although Saturday Night was taped in a studio, they still ran shows from arenas for their PPVs and Clashes, and they drew fairly good numbers. TNA is yet to get to the position where WCW was in the early 90's. They do have wrestlers who SHOULD be draws, but TNA itself has a poor track record when it comes to attendances. They have never drawn big numbers in the US during their entire existence and it's hard to see how that will change anytime soon.

Dixie already asked Spike for another one-hour show, but they rejected it. They would rather have a 3-hour Impact, but Dixie says it's more about quality, not quantity.

They just need to get rid of the plants, and maybe add a couple more sections. Nothing major.

The Impact Zone is fine from a aesthetic standpoint. They changed up the appearance of it not too long as it is. They don't need to go changing it every year. That's a financial drain in of itself.

TNA should find a decent venue in Dallas, and run IWs there.

I'd be neat if they held events in other permanent locations similar to what CMLL does, but I'm thinking rotating taping locations.
