Default What If TNA Moved

TNA being based in Florida hurts them in my eyes.

Look at sports based teams in Florida, horrible attendance issues, the media down there is meh the overall aspect of wrestling is week in general for most

Imagine moving to a more wrestling based market(Philadelphia)the 4th largest media market in the USA, tons of die hards come from the tri-state and the mid-west since Philly is dead in the middle. The overall strength of the city and market could do wonders for TNA.

I know the whole less traveling thing and Florida lifestyle is appealing to wrestlers but a move could really help them garner mainstream appeal.

discuss.......

Mainstream appeal? I don't think it would make a single bit of difference to how much mainstream appeal they get. TNA is not a territorial promotion, it's a national promotion. Their TV show is broadcast all over the US. If the media in Florida aren't interested enough in covering TNA, then I don't see why the ones in Philadelphia will.

Its simple, as much of a national program they are they're based in Florida, when people go to Florida for vacations you never hear oh lets go watch a TNA show

Getting to an area like Philly will attract people like I said from the tri-state area, the midwest since its so close, that alone helps the shows since the crowd tends to make the show

Philly also being a larger media market will help generate promotion of the company, there's a lot of people who dont like wrestling yet know WWE but not TNA

It all works hand in hand to be honest

But when they go to Florida they might say "Oh let's go to Universal Studios" and when they get to Universal Studios they might say "Oh let's go to TNA". They already do attract a lot of fans being in the Universal Studios.

Being in Philadelphia won't make a difference to how much promotion they get from the media. If they're running from a 1,500-3,000 seat arena, they'll be treated that small and insignificant.

But they'll be able to charge for admission in Philly. Plus they'll actually have fans of the show, REAL WRESTLING FANS, at the tapings rather than bored tourists. Philly was the birthplace of ECW. If there's a strong wrestling market for a small time wrestling promotion to work at, it's Philly.

i dont know why tna just dont tap at all the Universal Studios parks.

hell if tna just run all over Universal Orlando Resort

and not just Universal Studios Florida but go in Islands of Adventure
and Universal CityWalk and Wet 'n Wild.

Universal Studios Florida - the site of tna impact now.

I can see TNA doing ppv over at Universal's Islands of Adventure its just outside of the Portofino Bay Hotel, and Hard Rock hotel, converted Universal Studios Florida. its a biger outdoor site maybe for ppv and big impact shows.

i think having a impact from Wet 'n Wild can be one hell of a fun summer impact maybe 3 or 4 hr impact show.

Universal's Wet 'n Wild in Orlando is one of the parks within the Wet 'n Wild chain. Wet 'n Wild Orlando is consistently rated as one of the top waterparks in America.

but geting out of fl you got Universal Studios Hollywood out of the U.S.A. you got Universal Studios Japan andUniversal Productions France and Universal Studios South Korea, Hwaseong, South Korea will opin in 2016.

But they'll also have to pay to rent the arena, so if they would be making any profits at all it would be miniscule.

Plus, you can't guarantee that enough wrestling fans will come to the same arena in the same city every week just for TNA. If it's a 3,000 seat arena then they I don't see them being able to fill it every week and they'll have to paper it. If they go for an even smaller arena then it's going to look just as bad as it does from the Impact Zone if not worse.
